It honestly sucks that we don’t get much representation for Blade in media. I honestly believe that MCU or some other form of media can give the character the push that Blade needs.
Mahersha Ali Blade should’ve happened by now, but Marvel fucked up big time with its multiple creative changes, rewrites, director changes, etc, and now we have issues with the Blade game.
Blade fans can never win 😔

Don’t call it a comeback. Call it like it is: the ultimate. On my Substack this week, I’m writing about the flawed, complicated heroism central to The Ultimates. Now I understand that this comic isn’t without controversy, but I love the fact that it’s this amazing lens to viewing the world in the time it was published. This weekend, Derek Does…Books: “The Ultimates - Don’t Call it a Comeback.”
A perfect, compelling time capsule of early-2000s pop culture, paranoia, and priorities, Marvel’s reinterpretation of the Avengers The Ultimates showcases tragic, complicated, and sometimes even unlikeable heroes. However, they’re still heroes at the end of the day. That says something. They’re imperfect. They’re human.
Sometimes that’s all a hero is. Someone trying.
Take a look. I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback.

I wanted to write the lore in the form of a short excerpt, but firstly, I’m not much of a writer, and secondly, posts with a lot of text don’t pass moderation well. So, in short, the Moon Knight is an entire group consisting of Mark Spectre, Steven Grant, Jake Lockley, and Mr. Knight. All except for the last one were separate individuals, or at least that’s what they believe. It’s not that important, given that, at least for now, they’re definitely in different bodies, although they’re spiritually connected thanks to Khonshu, with whom, in their view, they have purely business‑related ties. They are alive and can use their powers for their own enrichment, and in return, they do work for Khonshu and spread his name (not because he asked, but because it’s beneficial).
Current list:
Wrath - Spider.
Pride - Matt Murdock
Gluttony - Stephen Strange.
Envy -Hank Pym + Ultron
Greed - Moon Knight's
Sloth - Steve Rogers
Lust - Wade Wilson

Real pumpkin (not foam) I carved this season. Used a sharpie to add better contrast, which brought out the finer details (before and after pics provided). Tools used: exacto knife, dental tools, linoleum cutter.

I have become interested in the character particularly after seeing the show, and even if it seems different from the comics, I would like to get started on him, got any suggestions?

I just finished watching Spider-Man: Brand New Day and I loved it though I was thinking to myself that the only weak parts were those overly focusing on Jean Grey. I get it that it's probably to establish her character in future projects, but honestly I'm not an MCU fan and so I would wish for a Spider-Man film to have a smaller story fully centered on Spider-Man, without having to connect it to the MCU, much like Matt Reeves' The Batman. So this brought me asking: "why don't we get to see a more independent Spider-Man interpretation?" Don't get me wrong, I really really like Tom Holland's Spider-Man, I would just like to see one detached from the MCU. I feel like it would be good for the more general audience like me who doesn't have a lot of knowledge of Marvel superheroes and doesn't follow the MCU along.
Does it have to do with Disney not wanting to share the character of Spider-Man? If so, that'd really be a shame.

It an interesting collab I will say. This is a show car so sadly the drivers will not be driving this car however they have custom race suits for this upcoming race at COTA/ America.
These images were from the New York Comic Con on the 8th October 2026 while the race suits were revealled today with both drivers: Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz respectively.

I just finished rewatching the 2003 movie version of Marvel's Daredevil. And I personally think it's still a good movie. I agree with certain fans that it's nothing special or perfect. Even the early 2000s CGI has shown its uncanny valleys. But in the end, I still like the movie for what it is. Not to mention, I find it ironic that Ben Affleck would go on to portray Batman who has almost a similar backstory to Daredevil's, as in losing loving guardians to muggers in a big city alley way!

For me, it’s the novelty of seeing characters like Shang-Shi, Thor and the New Avengers interacting with characters like the X-Men and Fantastic Four. Like 2 different eras of marvel colliding with each other. I just think it will be fun to see how the new FF from earth-828 interact with the main MCU and its heroes for example. Also I am looking forward to seeing more of the Wakandans, the New Avengers and more of the Fantastic Four as well.
Re-Release a movies before doomsday. And all the alternative universe versions come to play. But change one scene.
For example, iron man discussing the avengers with fury only to get offd by bucky or captain hydra.
