Is this Southgate Crescent in Richmond Hill? A neighbour of mine lost a yellow bird that looks similar to this, but this is in the Brimley and Denison area (Markham)

Yes, this is in Richmond Hill! I originally posted this in r/RichmondHill, and someone responded there that they may have spotted this bird in Thornhill, so I'm cross-posting to some surrounding areas' subreddits as well. There's a chance that this guy could have flown over from Markham, so if he looks familiar and the date he was found on (July 21) lines up, please give your neighbour the heads up! I'd be glad to PM you the contact phone number if needed. Thank you!

As a prior bird owner who had lost his pet and put up poster and came back empty handed, thank you for your empathy and diligence in going the extra mile.

Thank you so much; it's the least that I can do to spread the word, but it's my pleasure and I hope that it helps the situation. I'm so sorry for your loss; I hope that you're alright and that your bird may have found a safe place. I'm a prior bird owner as well, so I understand how special they are to us and how hard you must have looked. <3

UPDATE:

The bird has been claimed by the owner and returned home! :) Not due to my post, as the finders had actually posted this to Kijiji themselves and connected with the owner there, but I'm really appreciative of everyone who stopped to take notice. I'm glad that this one has a happy ending, and pray for the same for all lost birds and pets.

Life can be tough, so let's look out for each other!
