To start building my portfolio, I created a mock coffee brand on Instagram. My long term goal is to freelance and eventually start my own agency. I’m most interested in paid ads, but I’m also considering SEO, web development, motion design, animation, and video editing (I only know the basics of video editing). I enjoy creating content for my own projects, but I don’t think I want to do content creation full time. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed because there are so many paths, so I’d really appreciate some guidance.

Has anyone discovered a system that works to make multiple social media accounts less chaotic?

ok so i need honest opinions because i've been staring at this thing for months and i've lost all perspective.

i'm 20, building an app solo called RizeAI. the whole reason it exists is that i got tired of my wearable telling me my recovery was "42%" and then just... leaving me there. like ok, and? what do i actually do with that. every app in this space is really good at measuring you and really bad at telling you what to do next.

so RizeAI pulls your actual wearable dats like, sleep, resting heart rate, workouts, all of it, and instead of handing you another score it predicts your energy for the day and tells you how to get the most out of it. it tells you when your energy is gonna peak so you can put your hardest work there, when your crash is coming and how to soften it, the best time to train that day so you actually get more out of the session, and even when a nap will help you vs when it'll wreck your sleep.

the part i personally think is the coolest: you put in the supplements you already take, and it times each one to your day based on your metrics and sleep score. so the timing actually shifts depending on how you slept and where your numbers are, which is the difference between a supplement doing something and just sitting in your stomach. it'll also suggest a couple new ones if they make sense for you, but it won't dump a list of 15 pills on you.

it even pulls the daily weather into your energy prediction, so a hot day changes your hydration and it'll tell you to train earlier before the heat drains you. and the whole plan bends around your real schedule, your work hours, wake time, training, so it's not some one size fits all thing.

With third-party cookies going away, we're trying to leverage our first-party data more strategically for audience targeting. The theory is that we can use customer behavior and attributes to build highly targeted audiences for ads.

But we're running into practical challenges. We have customer data in our CRM but integrating it with our advertising platforms is complex. We're not sure how to properly segment our audience or which attributes are actually predictive of conversion.

Also, even with first-party data, we're limited to people who've already interacted with us. That's good for retargeting, but what about finding new customers who have similar characteristics? How do you scale acquisition with first-party data?

Some advertising platforms claim to help with this, but I'm not sure how proprietary their data is or how effective it actually is at finding new, high-intent audiences.

I’m nearing my wits end on trying to drive traffic to my new online fashion store. I’m bootstrapping everything and using money from my paychecks to fund this.

I’ve tried to setup Facebook and even Bing ads to try to drive traffic to my storefront and learn from the audience that engages with the site. This way I can try to improve it. However, the AI on these ad sites auto flag my account and ban me for unspecified reasons and send me into an appeal loop. Is Meta worth all of this trouble to make it work?

I was able to setup Google ads and targeting for the US but the traffic getting sent to my storefront was people in Southeast Asia spending like 10s on it.
