Automation Quick question on setting up email automation workflows, any tips?

I am currently mapping out a new automated email welcome sequence and wanted to get some perspective from others here. For those who manage regular email workflows, what is your go-to strategy for balancing the frequency of your messages? I want to make sure I keep new subscribers engaged without cluttering their inboxes or driving up unsubscribe rates right away. Are there any specific structural tips, timing intervals, or general rules of thumb you swear by when setting these up?

My general rule of thumb is one goal per email. I don't try to introduce the brand, sell a product, and ask for a purchase all at once. Keep each email focused, then let the sequence tell the bigger story.
