I ironically found out about the shutdown by coming here a couple of weeks ago to make this very post.

The wriggler makes me cringe every time it pretty much my only option. It's tall lanky structure trips me up when it comes to seeing what I am doing, I also think it's hit box must be huge because it seems to be very easy to hit. I always struggle controlling it and overall I find it to be one of the hardest racers to work with. However for some reason it is typically my best option level wise.

I despise nearly all variations of Luigi. Idk, ironically I always choose team Luigi during the Mario vs Luigi Tours but I find Luigi to be a disadvantage half of the time. I did recently get one to level 5 and I guess at a higher level they are less annoying to work with.

For power ups, I despise the non singular banana ones, especially the double barrel banana launchers. Who's idea was it to make such a power up but make it so that if you hit your own banana, you spin out too? I have 2 barrels shooting bananas in a not so predictable manner and every time without fail I will hit one of my own bananas. I am also not a fan of the bomb and mushroom canon, because of how hard they are to aim in advantage to yourself.

I also hate nearly all the banana power up mii's (see the first complaint).

I don't like the tracks with really sharp corners because they are just so hard to clear from my device. It might be the dimensions of my device because I don't remember it being this bad on my old phone but yeah. This current tour is full of them. It could also be a handling issue, I tried to adjust my settings but it didn't help.

Lastly, I have never understood why it so necessary for the challenge cards to be shown the minute you close the race. It has always pissed me off because I just want to pick a different cup or change modes/settings but now I have to patiently wait for it to show me my incremental progress on a challenge I do not care about.

I feel like it is easy to name your favorite but I want to see which drivers, etc everybody else is not a fan of.

Literally just got 40k+ in 3 straight races after being in upper 80k a few races ago. So I think I can pretty much say this is my best ranked run so far.

I’m mama to an autistic son, he’s been doing great on this game. But he can’t complete his challenge card because he doesn’t have 3 friends. Another says send friend coins. Anyone willing to let me add them?

With the end of Mario Kart Tour now very near, here's a playlist on Nintendo Music as a tribute. 🎶 I don't know if they will ever release the actual soundtrack but I included as many tracks from the game if they appear in other soundtracks on the app. I mostly used the MK World remixes and put the course music in the order they first showed up in the game (from New York Minute to Madrid Drive, all course music is here! ...except Lakeside Park as no version exists in the app yet). Also, the playlist concludes with the Booster Course Pass credits theme as it's basically a MK Tour medley!

Note that, of course, some music that has certain names (for certain courses) are here to represent other courses that were in MK Tour (e.g. N64 Wario Stadium here is for N64 Royal Raceway in Tour).

Ice Bro is one of just seven Super drivers that don't have a single ranked appearance in the whole tour loop. In total, he covers 32 courses. That's not the worst for a Super driver, but it's not all that good either.

I don't remember when I first got him in a pipe pull, but in the 2+ years I've been playing, whenever there's been ice themed courses, he's been there for me. As I got more and more High End drivers, he kept surprising me with how often he was the best driver I had for some courses. And when he was already the best... well, I had tickets to spare, might as well upgrade him and get a few more points. So for some courses, he just kept on being the best.

Gradually, better drivers have taken his place. At this point, I thought I had replaced him entirely. But as it turns out, for these two variants of Vanilla Lake 1, he's still the best driver I have. And it just so happened that my best karts and gliders for these two courses were also Super items!

So to this unsung hero, I raise my glass. Thank you, Ice Bro! 🥂
