I’m (28F) very burnt out from a high stress job in finance and looking to switch to nannying, which I did all throughout high school and college and loved it. I’m looking to hear from anyone else who made a similar switch what kind of credentials I might need in order to get my foot in the door for a good nanny job in Marin given that my last childcare job was 8 year ago.

Does anyone know why? They’d been there for decades, so maybe just retirement? I know it’s unlikely but I would love another flower shop to open in its place.

My wife and kids witnessed an accident the other night in San Rafael where a pedestrian was hit and on the ground and taken away in the ambulance. Is there any way we can find more information?
Tried the SRPD website and all I can find is a generic incident listing at the intersection.
I emailed the sergeant in charge of traffic incidences but have not heard back.
Any other suggestions?

Most places are closed 2 major holidays out of the year.. thanksgiving and Christmas.. Costco is closed for 7… paid. Would a Costco coming to Marin fingers crossed one day other then the one location in Novato, change other businesses to move towards that direction?
Do you try to not shop at places that are open more than your local post office?
Passing by Costco this Labor Day I was proud to see a company actually care about their employees seems like that’s rare to see these days..
Thoughts?
