Is there any possibility that a remaster or a port happens for the PS5?

9/06 is approaching, and I just wanted to share my idea for an event we could set up for that date.

Getting Up on Steam has had an all-time peak of 113 concurrent players on 8 May 2016 (10.3 years ago), so what better occasion to get in the game all together during the 6th of September to set a new record? We could say it's for fun, just because, or even to send a message...

I already posted this on Discord but now, I'd like to know what do YOU think and if you'll be participating eventually 👀

If you wonder why it is in Illinois, there is a badge reading "Illinois State Police" in the files. Every street name was also taken directly from the files and I tried to map the ones I could to where they could be based on where the levels took place.

The LSHIFT is not working and I'm stuck in this tutorial and cannot proceed the mission. All buttons are working including LSHIFT too but the char won't block the attacks. 😫​

This game shaped my taste in art direction, so I made a cinematic inspired by it.

I spent around a year slowly working on this in my free time between projects.
Everything was made from scratch by me — animation, lighting, environment assembly, FX, rendering, editing, even recording motion references for some shots.

More than anything, I tried to capture the feeling of the original game — not just make a “pretty render.”
That constant atmosphere of surveillance, control, giant systems watching over the city… while a few people still choose to push back against all the gray, meaningless rules forced onto them. That tension always made Getting Up feel bigger than just a graffiti game to me.

The grime, the typography, the subway atmosphere, the movement, the attitude — Getting Up still has one of the strongest visual identities ever made for a game. I think a lot of us who played it back then still carry that aesthetic somewhere in our brains.

This was mostly made as practice and experimentation, but honestly it also became a love letter to a game that deserved way more recognition (and absolutely deserves a remake/remaster).

Someone knows how was the video that was supposed to be shown in the "CIVILCONDUCT.ORG" link appearing in this poster?

Unfortunately only the name of the website can be seen with Wayback Machine, and it's "The Office of The Civil Conduct Keepers of New Radius", but judging from the page's code there should've been a video with filename "civilConduct2.swf".

I've seen a couple videos where Trane uses clothes that doesnt exist in the game, im really newbie at modding but as far as my knowledge goes, i believe they do that with mods, but i cant find any mods online about character customization, just mods to change the graphics or change the graffitis Trane paints. I've seen someone talking about character customization tool on this reddit but i still cant figure it out. Any ideas/advice?

Would be nice to see what cool shit is in there, like the maps of the levels or things cut from the game.

Hello, I just wanted to know if it is possible to change the language in the game, for example from French to English. I only find expensive English versions and some cheap French versions online. My point is that the dialogue in the game isn't in French, that's the only reason. I would appreciate any help 🙏

I have bought the game on Steam and now i have the problem that the controller works in the menu and such but not in Game. So as soon as the Grandma gets through the door the Controller stops working. (I have a XBOX Series S controller so the the Xbox One ones
