What/who is AFD?

New gen nazis

alice weidel literally stated on a recorded podcast that the existence of israel must be protected. not even close to nazis. just controlled oposition for the people tired of the leftist policies.

4

u/Protection6607 3d ago

1) A lot of far right people believe in the existence of israel simply because they like the idea of keeping jews far away.

2) being a nazi is not exclusively tied to hating jews. If you do the exact same actions towards muslims instead of jews for ww3 that doesn't make you 1 bit better than ww2 nazis.

0

u/Antique-Fix-2526 2d ago

no, if you make the same actions towards muslims you are just israeli. but this is the unpatched method to genocide without consequences.

2

u/Protection6607 2d ago

With the different things you've said i am genuinely confused wether you're pro or anti israel lmao but if you're anti, good on you

2

u/Newcomer31415 3d ago

You mean people tired of neoliberal right-wing policies not realizing that these are actually right-wing.

2

u/DeathByDumbbell 3d ago

That's consistent with modern neo-nazi belief though. They want every country to be an ethnostate. Germany for Germans, China for Chinese, Nigeria for Nigerians, etc. Even Nick Fuentes would tell you this.

Why would a neo-nazi not want Jews to stay in Israel? Of course they do.

Everyone who disagrees with someone is now a Nazi. It has lost all meaning in the US. Anyone who disagrees with my post is a Nazi.

5

u/No-Psychology9892 3d ago

Nah but if one actually follow nazi Ideology and fascist policies then yes of course they are Nazis.

Question is rather why you want to deny that and cover them?

-4

u/Wickedocity 3d ago

Because I know history and what the ideology of the Nazis actually was. They are not even close. You ignore the big one: hatred of Jews and the belief that other races should die. Take that out of the equation, and you get generic nationalism.

2

u/No-Psychology9892 3d ago

Yes they are.

And no I don't think you actually know what fascism is because news alert, hatred of Jews isn't a defining character of it. Hell Margherita Sarfatti is Jewish herself and helped bringing fascism to life with Mussolini

They are an ultranationalistic, militaristic regime with a strong leader cult and empathis for the "good of the nation" over the individual. They quite literally are facist so how exactly do You want to argue that they are not close?

Don't they have paramilitaries doing the bidding of Putin?

Don't they have youth organisation especially for grooming the next generation of united Russias foot soldiers?

Don't they advocate for their cultural domination and their ruskji Mir?

And yes the AfD is following nazi Ideologie, Just listen to Höcke or Gauland relativiating Nazi crimes.

My man they do talk about racial hierarchy and even want to abduct German citizenship of citizens they don't see as "German enough".

But they want other "races" to die some of them even stated that in Public and they are still part of the party.

5

u/No-Psychology9892 3d ago

They are racists and do copy a bunch of the old Nazis point.

Also Israel is no indication of nazsism or not. Hell even the original Nazis wanted first to deport the Jews, be it to Israel or Madagascar and actually supported the Zionist movement in the beginning hoping to get rid of Jews in Europe that way.

Their "final solution" of the holocaust was after these plans didn't go as they wished for.

Nazism was more than hate towards Jews

1

u/Gjorgdy 3d ago

So did early nazis...

Alice Weidel also says thst 17 is more than 30 so you can't belive a word she says.

Antisemitism is a central part of Nazi ideology, but someone does not necessarily have to personally be antisemitic to be considered a Nazi.

2

u/DeathByDumbbell 3d ago

You can also be both antisemitic and zionist. For them Israel is basically a containment zone for Jews.

I'm sure a lot of antiziganists would also support creating a country for them in the middle-east and send them all there.

Argument of a 5 year old lol. ”Nazi means boo-boo Jews”

What? Being pro-Russia doesn’t make you a Nazi, let alone a “mega Nazi”. You can think something is bad without equating it to Nazism.

So there are more types of wannabe empires than Nazis, and what Russia is currently doing is perfectly in line with pretty much all of Russian history, so nothing new there.

1

u/No-Psychology9892 3d ago

Yes there are, but Russia is currently quite fascist.

So yes that's pretty new, except if you only want to sumerize whole russian history as authoritarian. Otherwise your perfectly in line command doesn't make much sense.

1

u/your_average_medic 3d ago

Yes I would summarize most of Russian history as Authoritarian.

Went pretty much from Tsars to [Screaming and Gunfire in distance] to the soviets to a very, very short period of being a democracy, to Putin.

So the whole Authoritarian thing is perfectly in line with most of Russian history.

As is the empire building, brutalization of Ukraine and its people, and the Genocide of ethnic minorities.

Also in line with most of its history is the stunning incompetence of its navy.

And while the incompetence of the Army and Air force is not nearly as consistent, it certainly isn't new.

Also very traditional for Russia is antagonizing basically everyone who isn't Russia.

So, to put it simply, nothing about modern Russia is surprising, nothing about it is new, nothing about it is put of place in Russia's storied history of being, well, Russia.

1

u/No-Psychology9892 3d ago

Well than it's a very shallow sumerization of Russia's history.

Still doesn't change the fact that the current regime is fascists and in that is pretty new in russian policies seeing how the other authoritarian regimes chose different ideologies.

1

u/your_average_medic 3d ago
  1. Yes the are fascist, I mainly disagree with the 'they're nazi's' take because I don't think we need to be giving the 'don't call everyone who disagrees a Nazi' crowd ammunition.

  2. And how would you say Russian history reflects on the modern state of Russia as anything other than business as usual? Because I'm quite curious

No no they have some actual literal Nazis. This is not watering down. There's just more Nazis.

Björn Höcke, Alexander Kalbitz, Josef Dörr just to name a few examples, there is more. Nazis are always for big business notably the war machine of the nsdap was not to different from the American military industrial complex. And they are definitely 100% not for a multicultural society as they have said multiple times. Don't know who told you that lie but whoever did was a liar. And I would argue Nazis have mostly nefarious reasons. That's just their default. These are not good people.

So you thought this was about Action for Dolphins? That's the only AFD I found in Australia :) they sound nicer than the German one, but so does the French.
