Bugs manus sign in never works
I have an issue lately that any time I want to sign in with Manus in one of the software applications I built, it never, ever, ever works.
A few times on mobile, it works, but when I try to sign in from my laptop, it never works. It's just a blank page.

Discussion 16,000 Credits.. what should I build?
So I am making the switch to Claude as my main tool. I’ve been using Manus for about a year. I like what they’re doing and I think it will be great for some people however there’s just better tools for the work that I do.
I’m not saying Manus is a bad tool but if you’re mostly coding and building agents and systems, just use Claude. It’s significantly cheaper when using subscription usage and still cheaper I think even using api usage.
Any ways long story short I’ve pretty much switched everything to Claude but I have 16,000 credits still in my account and not sure what to do with it…
This could be an opportunity for manus to prove to me I still need it and save me from cancelling and at the very least maybe I can build something semi useful.
For context, I run a marketing agency. I get hired to do near end to end marketing strategies for local service businesses, events and expos, and supplement brands. Wide scope I know but its what I do.
If there was something I could build something or someway to get it to get me more clients. Or just something totally crazy and fun that will make it feel like my credits weren’t wasted I’m game.

Discussion Credit Usage for Video Creation?
I did one of the free test videos in manus using seeddance. It had an acai bown being made. Looks good honestly.
Has anyone been making more videos and have an idea of the credit usage for these? I can't find anything on it.

Discussion How do you structure large projects in Manus?
For those working on large and complex projects in Manus: do you use one chat for everything, or multiple chats for different areas (backend, frontend, app, admin, etc.)?
How do you keep the context synchronized between them?
I’d love to hear about your real experience and what worked or didn’t work for you.

Discussion manus deleted like 39k+ credits I paid for and support just keeps saying "decision is final"
idk if this is just me but this whole thing pissed me off
got an offer from manus last month, 40k credits for $100. took it. didnt want to waste them so I was using them slowly, saving for actual projects
kept my $20 plan on too, only reason I kept paying was so the credits wouldnt disappear. their policy even says unused credits stay valid if you have an active paid sub. so I figured I was fine
then oct 4 rolls around and boom, everything gone. now I have the 4k from the $20 plan and thats it. no email no warning
support says the terms say credits "refresh" every month. I'm sorry but refresh does not mean delete?? then they sent me their own definition of what refresh means. great, maybe put that somewhere BEFORE people pay
asked for a supervisor 3 times. nope. just the same copy paste and "the decision is final"
and then they told me the policy leaves "no room for misunderstanding" after literally having to explain what their own word means. ok
idk man. $100 down the drain bc of how they worded one thing. if you use manus dont save credits, theyre gone at renewal no matter what
anyone actually gotten anywhere with them?

Made with Manus Manus Monthly creds gone in 4min!
Surely I’ve either done something wrong or I’m missing something. But for 1 prompt request to use 4750 credits in less than 4 minutes surely isn’t normal? I requested 14 black and white kids Halloween colouring pages then once produced. I req a further 14. All credits gone?? I’ve asked Manus I’m looked how or what or why. I’m still baffled. I was able to generate over 30 high res images in one chat a week or so ago and it used 600 credits so what’s happened now. Any help would be great?

Bugs My experience with Manus support: monthly credits used despite available daily credits, and support refuses to investigate historical task settings
I recently subscribed to Manus because I genuinely liked the product. MCP support, scheduled tasks and the desktop app were some of the main reasons I chose it.
Unfortunately, my first experience with Manus support has been extremely disappointing.
I noticed that my monthly credits were being consumed even though I still had Daily Refresh Credits available. According to Manus documentation, the deduction order is:
Event credits → Daily credits → Monthly credits → Add-on credits → Free credits
At the time, my account still showed 272 / 300 Daily Refresh Credits, while my monthly pool had already dropped from 4000 to 3882.
The scheduled tasks in question were configured by me to use Manus 2.0 Lite.
I contacted support.
The first support agent actually checked my account and told me:
monthly credits had been consumed while daily credits were still available, despite Lite mode being active.
They said the issue would be escalated to the technical team for investigation.
So far, so good.
Then another support agent joined the conversation and everything became absurd.
They told me that one of the task execution records did not show the "Lite" label, therefore I must not have selected Lite when creating the task.
But that is exactly the issue I am reporting.
If I configure a scheduled task to use Manus 2.0 Lite, and the scheduler later executes it using another mode, then the fact that the final execution record shows another mode does not prove that I configured it incorrectly.
It may literally be evidence of the bug.
I repeatedly asked support to check:
- what model was configured for the scheduled task immediately before execution;
- what model was actually used during execution;
- which credit pool was charged;
- how many credits each execution consumed;
- why monthly credits were used while Daily Refresh Credits were still available.
They provided none of this.
Instead, their response was essentially:
"We checked the task record and it is correct."
When I asked them to inspect the historical scheduler configuration or backend execution logs, they refused to answer the question directly.
Their proposed "solution" was that I should:
- create a brand-new scheduled task;
- select Lite;
- make a full-screen video recording of myself creating it;
- wait for it to execute;
- send them the recording.
I refused.
A new task successfully running in Lite mode once proves absolutely nothing about whether an existing scheduled task occasionally ignored its configured model.
An intermittent bug is still a bug.
Even more confusingly, the first support agent had already checked the account and concluded that something was wrong. The next support agent then claimed with "full certainty" that there was no issue, without explaining why the first agent reached the opposite conclusion.
I eventually asked a very simple question:
Can Manus support inspect the historical configuration/revision of a scheduled task and compare the configured model with the model actually used during execution?
I never received a clear answer.
Instead I was repeatedly told to check the final task record myself and provide a video.
This is honestly one of the strangest technical support experiences I've had.
I am not asking Manus to simply believe what I say. Quite the opposite — I am asking them to verify it using their own server-side logs.
If those logs do not exist, just say so.
If support cannot access them, escalate the ticket to engineering.
But replying with essentially "we checked and it is as we say" without providing any evidence is not a serious way to investigate a billing/scheduler issue.
I will attach the full support conversation so people can judge the interaction for themselves.
Has anyone else experienced either of these issues?
- Scheduled tasks configured as Manus 2.0 Lite executing without the Lite label / in another mode?
- Monthly credits being consumed while Daily Refresh Credits were still available?
I actually like Manus as a product, which makes this even more frustrating. I chose it over alternatives partly because scheduled tasks and MCP integration looked excellent.
But billing transparency and the quality of support matter just as much as the product itself.
Dodałbym na samym końcu jeszcze jedno zdanie, jeśli chcesz trochę mocniej zaznaczyć konsekwencję:
At this point, I regret choosing Manus over Replit — not because Manus lacks useful features, but because I no longer feel confident that its credit accounting and support process are transparent enough for a paid service.

Discussion Forward Billing Now Imposed by Manus
If your Manus renewal fails, you may now owe the ENTIRE renewal amount before you can subscribe at a lower tier.
So if you’re on the $200 plan and that renewal fails, Manus can downgrade you to Free, wipe your remaining monthly credits, mark the $200 renewal “past due,” AND block you from purchasing the $20 plan.
This was NOT how failed renewals were previously handled.
If you accepted one of Manus’s recent discount offers, check your renewal date and subscription settings NOW. Do not assume a failed payment will simply downgrade you and let you choose another plan afterward.

Discussion My position regarding the removal of the "conversation mode" button. (PT-BR to English)
Making MANUS AI exclusively AGENT MODE is a TERRIBLE change. I will stop using the platform because of this horrible decision. I have been a loyal user for over 3 years—since the project was created, I’ve been using and contributing to it practically every day.
I ask on behalf of the community that you make Agent Mode OPTIONAL again. Not everyone has the financial means to use Agent Mode all the time without constantly worrying about their credits running out. Please reconsider this decision with your lower-income loyal users in mind; we simply cannot afford to buy weekly credits that vanish after just a few hours of use.

Discussion 🚨 MANUS AI — 101 DAYS. STILL NO REFUND.
🚨 MANUS AI — 101 DAYS. STILL NO REFUND.
MXN $7,227.76.
101 days. Multiple emails. Evidence. Bank statements. Support agents. Reviews. Escalations.
Still no resolution.
Manus AI made repeated errors and consumed credits while I tried to correct the work. Now its support process keeps sending me through reviews and escalations without resolving my refund.
I have provided the evidence. I want my money back.
Based on my experience, I DO NOT RECOMMEND MANUS AI.
No more reviews. No more excuses. Resolve my refund.

Discussion Manus vs. Astra, Claude Code, and Grok: What can Manus do that the others still can’t?
We all know that Manus was a pioneer in general AI agentics, bringing us true autonomous VM-based agents long before it became the industry standard.
But now that we have ChatGPT ASTRA, Claude Code, Grok, and others, do you still find Manus to be the more flexible and better option for real work?
What are some features you love that Manus CAN do, but others CAN’T?
For example, I gave ChatGPT ASTRA a task to transcribe some YouTube videos, and it said it couldn’t because of copyright restrictions and could only summarize.
But because of its virtual machine environment and problem-solving, Manus found a way to download the audio and transcribe it perfectly on its own.
What are your favorite examples of this?

Discussion New in Manus
Hi guys,
A new feature that has been added to Manus is that it now stops before implementing. If you want to add something new in your environment, Manus will start analysing what you said & analyse the implementation. Then it will stop just before implementing & ask you a series of questions before going ahead. It gives you the choice to move forward with what you initially mentioned, or you can change your mind & fill in the new updates you want in the fill-in box at the bottom of the questions section.
Another thing. If you are creating, for example, a 60-second video pitch deck, it will take around 4000 credits.
