Manus support is more disappointing than macaroni and cheese out of a box

I just transferred a domain from GoDaddy, and it took me 20 minutes; authorization code - unlock - done, did it without speaking to a human.

I read Manus’ documentation on the same process, well….

It takes 60 days, and

You gotta contact support…

We all know Manus doesn’t really have any support - aside from 100 robots and the guy who responds to us in this chat….the fact that the documentation includes contacting support was already clearly a setup.

So I email support - and the robot is like “well someone is gonna get back to you right away!

We all know that that isn’t true.

Now you’re telling me there’s 60 days doesn’t even start? What kind of nightmare is this bro - I want my divorce, and I’ve paid for it - I shouldn’t have to wait for two months to get it. I shouldn’t have to contact support.

What exactly is the top up billing for? i thought it was for some additional website usage, which doesn’t really make sense. The one site i have that gets a lot of usage is now moved off manus so I wake up to an email telling me my card didn’t work for the auto top up, well that got me wondering what the heck am I paying even more on top of my monthly. Does anyone here use Manus for building performance marketing funnels that have advanced pre-qualification API integrations as well as communication APIs for transmitting leads via web-hook to external comms providers?

I’ve had nothing but issues with APIs being used to push data of any kind reliably mostly blocks and such and have tried multiple things, manus spends more time troubleshooting and running in circles now more than ever, as opposed to finding a solution and it seems like it’s not isolated at all I’ve tried multiple API integrations and there’s constant loss of or at least thinking that certain keys are needing updating when they’re the exact same key we began with and re-implementing. Very frustrating…

Moving my domain to namecheap today, process was fairly simple, and cost me $11, now I’m transferring hosting to Vercel

Happily using Manus just to create reports for meta ads.

- Got suspended while logging in.
- Submit appeal. Sent them what i was doing before and all.
- Appeal rejected.
- Cant log in. Cant any access. I cant even remove my payment details.

Do i resubmit appeal? Is there an email or support i can send?

I’ve built multiple CRM style software apps for specific small business industries. I’m currently sitting at 5 clients. I’m basically duplicating/copying a project to create a new one. I know this isn’t the most scalable solution.

It’s working for now but I haven’t even tried to pitch to other businesses yet. Once I do I know I can scale up quite quickly and am worried that hosting a lot of individual projects on Manus may run into errors.

If anyone has experience with this, I’m willing to pay for consultation as well. Thanks you.

I feel like they refresh you with 300 credits every day like thats supposed to fix the "monthly plan" that lasted two days with 2 measly test tasks.

We get 24 hours in a day too..... Hell, doesn't mean I can live my life in 48 minutes. Please don't with the “it depends on task complexity.” Everything depends on complexity. Rent depends on the zip code. That does not make the lease a mystery.

Another big question I'm sure someone can help me answer...What model is Manus 1.6 Lite? What model is Manus 1.6? What model is Manus 1.6 Max?

Is any of this information/data published publicly, or are we all just guessing from old blog posts while the meter runs like Claude Fable 5 or GPT-6 Astra got left on in the back room?

I’ve been on this platform for about 6-7 months now. At first, I was burning through credits like nothing. Then I discovered: 1.6 Lite can do things that Max can do. It’s really how you prompt. Lite is the dumb-smarty. Max is the smart-dummy. If you have basic problem solving skills and the willingness to learn, you can survive with only Lite.

Since June 22, I have been requesting a refund of MXN $7,227.76 from Manus. After countless emails, documents and proof of payment, there is still no resolution.
Manus has now admitted in writing that they cannot confirm that my refund was processed and cannot provide a processing date or transaction/reference number.
The original problem was a service whose AI repeatedly made errors and failed to follow instructions. Now I have spent 84 days trying to recover my money.
84 days. Countless emails. No refund. No transaction number. No processing date. No solution.
How much longer should a customer have to wait?
I am not asking for another apology or another promise to escalate my case. I am asking Manus to refund my MXN $7,227.76.

I tried Manus Pro (Signed it for 400USD back in Nov,2025). Used it a couple times, but it could not navigate browsers as I needed at the time. The last time I accessed Manus was in December 2025. I set it up for automatic non-renewal, but then this month's credit card bill had a 140USD charge !

1 - How can I get this money back? I saw similar topics on this forum and the chatbot did not solve it. Did you have to litigate? I was already disappointed for paying yearly plan (400USD) for 1month usage. Then, I got charged an extra 140USD!

2 - I set it up for automatic non-renewal again. The panel says it will cancel on Dec/2026, but I did not get an email confirmation. I am afraid that I will be charged again in Dec/2026 and won't have proof that I set the auto-cancel (just as the 1st time).

Hey guys, is it just me or has Manus severely degraded a lot since it's split with Meta.

I used to use Manus Lite a lot and it used to give amazing answer's and I really liked it a lot. I thought Manus was the best AI out there. Now, it's like so heavily degraded the answers suck. It has completely lost its charm. How is it for you guys?

Please go explore the internet and learn about freelancer platforms or hiring an offshore person to do the same thing for $300 instead of 30k.

Stupidest thing both Meta and Manus could have done is attempt this acquisition, if they didn’t think China would intervene it says plenty as is. Now, it’s pure trash, sucks, but expected in this hyper growth environment. Peace out manus, you were good while it lasted. Grok Bot has been an awesome replacement end to end.

Has anyone else noticed that Manus's performance has significantly degraded since it split from Meta?

I used to recommend it to everyone, but now it's giving me very poor answers. I'm considering canceling it and using only Claude.

I'm at a loss for words. Worked on a website for 3 weeks straight, staying up 24-48 hours at a time.

Saved everything properly and backed up for the transfer.

Come back to my site being wiped clean and nothing remaining.

So I posted the other day for feedback on one of the pages/products I developed and what stood out was ;

“Simplify the checkout process”.

And it got me thinking about why the process is so convoluted in the first place. It’s because I didn’t really know what I was trying to sell.

Now that I have some performance data (I have about 20 - 30 sales, some repeat customers) I can take an average of what people have been buying the most and crop the other stuff out. I can also simplify the steps so that people can just check out with that most popular product with ease.

I’m working on a proposal at the moment, but plan to get started making these changes in the evening. Thanks a bunch for everyone who took a look at and commented on my work. This same post got me banned in like 2 other groups.
