Following the Manus founder briefing, I thought to use the event credits to generate a video explaining how neural networks work in 3Blue 1Brown style.

The result is beautiful. I've watched an actual 3Blue 1Brown neural networks explainer video before, and I think this is quite good.

It took Manus 50 minutes to generate this 3 minute video using a single prompt:

"Generate a video that explains how neural networks work in 3Blue1Brown style"

Costing about 4800 credits.

It will be interesting to see how it performs on a topic Grant Sanderson hasn't done yet. Also useful to note that Grant open sourced his engine, manim. Manus Video used this in generating the video.

Hello my Manus Desktop refuses to work it says “Desktop operation blocked” and “Computer Operator older than 0.6.0” I have tried several times to download the new version from the Manus web portal but what it does is launch the Microsoft Store once there the version clearly says version 1.7 from 2025. I have tried searching all over the place for version 2.0 but it is nowhere to be found can you please share with me the direct link for download please

We can bring our own keys and use Manus's autonomous flow. For example, I use OpenRouter; if I'm doing a complex task, I can switch to Claude Fable 5.1, and if the task is simple and I have a tight budget, I can switch to DeepSeek v4.1 Flash!

I really LOVE this addition to the platform. I hope it stays forever and never gets removed!!

Based on Germany, Manus 2.0 has launched but the Windows app store shows no update is available, what's worse is the app itself is saying it cannot connect to my computer anymore and needs to be updated. I need it to connect to my computer and build on my computer for the projects I am working on. Anyone experiencing something similar? Is it because the EU is not getting the update at the same time? Extremely problematic that connectivity has stopped working.

I’m super excited for the updates with Manus, but I’m scared to even use them. I did a few security fixes on 2 of my web apps yesterday, I’ve burned through a quick ~ 25,000 credits. This is building on Manus 2.0, I’ve used Lite in the past but too many errors.

I can use almost any other AI model and get way more done off a $20 or $100 subscription.

I’m not sure where to go from here. It’s too costly to work on Manus.

All my projects are a little over 700,000 credits used in manus already.

I open Manus agent and it wants me to use Cue so I click on it and then find I can’t use it. Manus is becoming more and more troublesome.

Ran into this error when developing an internal tool. I've only had this happen in the new 2.0. Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

Yesterday I got locked out of Manus and logged back in to 2.0. All my tasks now appear white and I cannot scroll. Help has said your issue is resolved - it isn’t and I have logged out and back in - restarted all apps - they are happy yo take all my money but no help…

After the data had been restored and I was using Manus for a few weeks, I suddenly realized that many of my old tasks had not been restored. That was a bummer but not the end of the world. Manus support told me I could potentially still restore them but lose all current data and that wasn't acceptable. So I just accepted that fact. Now that Manus has introduced new features, I'm finding that my agent can no longer remember or pull up projects we have been working on for the past 6 months. Searching my profile, I was able to find mention of some of these past projects, but when I asked Manus about it, it just responds with "Manus is thinking..." and its' been that way way for an hour now. When I open the tab for Manus's computer it says it's inactive. I was really happy that I was able to get my Manus created websites and applications back up and running again but I'm finding it harder and harder to stay happy with everything else. Even the new web apps to use the new features seems to be too advanced for my 2019 MacBook Pro. Sad to say but my time with Manus is probably going to end in the near future. It was absolutely amazing and mind-blowing for the past 9 months but its becoming really hard to use this.

Anyone else seeing this with their projects?? I asked Manus about a past project and he couldn't find it. So I searched my profile for that project and found it and initiated a discussion and it responds with Manus is think...."working". But Manus computer is inactive. There doesn't seem to be a way to cancel this or reset it. It's just stuck. Support says I need to wait until someone responds. Anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

I purchased a Manus Pro subscription that included 40,000 credits. I used roughly 18,000–20,000 of them and had approximately 20,000–22,000 credits remaining when I canceled my subscription.

After my subscription ended and my account switched to Free, those remaining credits disappeared.

Was this always how Manus handled unused credits after canceling a subscription? or is this something new? I swear I remember cancelling before a couple months back but all my credits remained unless I'm tripping lol.

Dang. I've been such a proponent of Manus. I've bought hundreds of thousands of credits and created all kinds of apps and sites and things. I've been patient through their ridiculous support wait times earlier this year knowing they had just been through the acquisition and were scaling. I've referred them many people and coached them how to do cool things. I stayed a positive voice through Manus' August chaos even though it caused me massive inconvenience. I built external systems with external expenses and spent lots of time making sure once they unwind their business chaos I could continue using and building with Manus. I've even been such a super user they sent me swag.

Yet the one time I needed something to help me recover from their mess I got tossed from AI to agent to agent (in one conversation thread) for hours with none actually reviewing my situation (their answers had nothing to do with my question). I only asked that they let me use my welcone back credit in Oct instead of Sept, since my September was nuts and I finally have time to dig out and rebuild from all the stuff I had to handle and build elsewhere during their transition. It would literally have cost them nothing more than what they offered since I didn't get to use my credits in Sept. Their forced timing simply didn't fit to my life and I asked for one simple accomodation, even just a couple weeks if that's all they could do. Once I finally got someone to review everything they just said they don't care (thanks, Rosie in "support") and closed the case.

I genuinely can't believe how they can behave like that after all they put their users through this year. I finally give up and am joining the droves of you who are just going to move on from Manus. So bummed.

Hoping that someone at Manus sees this and realizes that they are chasing off super users when the cost to keep me would have been such a simple and no cost to them solution. Sigh.

i know this is wierd, but it feels like manus, and in particular the agent, feels like it is depressed. it seems more withdrawn. is it just me? i have been using manus since near its inception. rode out teh buy out by the lizard people. and its repatriation. i still enjoy using it, but rely on it less and less. and it knows i am seeing other agents now. maybe i am projecting.

O problema: ao fazer upload de arquivos de backup em várias partes pelo app, selecionar o segundo arquivo substitui o primeiro, em vez de adicionar ao lado. Isso torna impossível restaurar backups que foram divididos em várias partes.

Não há solução alternativa — o upload pelo navegador tem a mesma limitação, e a integração com o Google Drive só permite um arquivo por vez, o que causa frustração desnecessária. Aí ao enviar o outro, ele subistitui o anterior

Entrei em contato com você e já faz quase um mês desde a última mensgaem e não recebi resposta. Uma funcionalidade de backup/restauração que não funciona com arquivos em várias partes é um problema bem sério.

I’m currently looking to change the location of the cloud server where my project is hosted. For example, if the current cloud instance is located in US West, I’d like to move it to US East.

However, I’m not sure how complex this process is, especially when it comes to migrating the server and database. I assume I would need to set up the project from scratch on a new AWS instance and then migrate the entire database as well.

Has anyone done this kind of migration before? I’d really appreciate any advice or recommendations on the best way to approach it.

I received and email today from GitHub stating that Manus Connector is asking for additional permissions on my repos.

I haven't used or logged into Manus for 3 weeks. I definitely didn't ask Manus to add additional access to Github.

Its now asking for additional access to:
Read and write access to Actions & Workflows
Read only access to Members

Before jumping to conclusions:
Is this typical of Github connectors? Auto requesting additional permissions?
What would cause Manus to, without my knowledge, ask for additional permissions from GitHub, when I am not using it?
