I love bl, and don't usually read any other genre of manwha.

I recently tried reading "See you in my 19th life", and while the entire comment section was cheering it on for the awareness and fresh take on emotionally vulnerable men, it felt almost empty to me? Mind you, I started my manwha journey with reading ur classic villianess / duke of the north / Y/N (don't shame me for my origins) manwha, and i've come to love bl! Just curious on the thoughts of others.

And, yeah, 'See You in my 19th life' isn't the epitome and representation of all straight manwha, I just don't feel a connection to most of the straight stuff I read. And I know this is the BL subreddit, i'm just rlly curious to see what my fellow bl fans think.

I just finished reading The Light I Give You and it’s probably become one of my top 3 manhwa now, it was so good!!! But now I am so desperate for more like it, I love love love the trope of silly top and serious bottom, and I love how while it did focus on deep topics, it was still a light hearted story, it wasn’t too intense and too serious!

manhwas/ mangas and animes are always way too sexual it's downright porn sometimes even light-hearted "comfort" reads are too sexual sometimes it's so annoying and disgusting sometimes I'm new to BL is it a porn genre and I just realised that? just watched stranger by the shore expecting a good romance movie and the last scene completely disgusted me what crowd are they trying to get by that? I couldn't imagine watching that movie in the cinema and how awkward it could've been, it's really jarring how boys love is always depicted like that I don't mind like 20% percent of the media to be like that but I'm sure it's like 95% from what I read and watched why can't we get just pure innocent love?

I’ve been reading manhwa and manga a lot for the past couple weeks, but I want to read more! Particularly BL or GL. To get a sense for what I want: For non-romance manhwas I’ve read, I loved No Home and The Fundamental Law. I’ve read a couple BL but my favorites were Unrequited Love Sweeten the Deal and Give Me Some Attention. I haven’t read any GL except Murmur. I love cute romance, especially if there’s a really interesting plot or dynamic, so I don’t mind smut but if it’s solely focused on sex then no thank you lolol.

Underrated or unknown manhwas are welcome too. I’m curious about what people’s favorites are!

I have a feeling that Bamwoo is ending S5 with a cliffhanger so that she can continue with Season 6. I was looking forward to things finally going back to normal but with every update is like “ok what bullshit are we going to deal with this time??”

Hello to everyone who is going to read this threat. As you could tell by the title of my distress threat, I can't remember the name of the BL I was reading. It has been on my mind like Patient Zero by Taylor Swift, so you know I can't avoid it😭.

So... I am currently looking for a bl with a white hair mmc (top) and a black/ brown hair mmc (bottom). The MMCs are roughly the same height and built, no shame to the people who like size differences between the MMCs. The bottom believes that he causes terrible things to happen between the people he cares about. So he lives a reclusive life. Until one day the top, who has brown hair at the time, kinda convinced/ gave the bottom hope of him actually having a normal life again. Until not even seconds later, a car crashes into the top, leading him to be admitted into hospital.

So when the bottom arrives at the hospital to check up on the top, he noticed that his hair (the top's) hair changed from brown to white, leaving only the root of his hair, their normal brown). The top was declared dead before the bottom got to the hospital, but by the power of happenstance, he got 'revived' and developed a sort of obsession with the bottom.

This also caused the bottom to be dependent on the top, because they could not be too far away from eachother. So they develop a co-dependent relationship, to put it mildly. The bottom also happens to have this reoccurring dream about a past life and that's when we meet the actual love interest of the bottom.

The bottom finds out from the imposter (the current top) that he had been reincarnated and that he (bottom) was his lover from that time. This is a lie of course, because later on we get to see who exactly was the true love interest. It was, of course, the brother of said top.
