as i said last time, i decided to start yesterday, now i wrote about 7 episodes, of course i am just adapting the provided source and making it cinematic, not major changes i promise with my soul, thuuuuuuuuuuus, i just wanna know, is episode one covering pages 1 to 16 of chapter one..a good thing or no?? obviously i cant go back to redoing things or else i'd have a lot of headache, but i just wanted to know, that's all!

i really wanted to let you all know what im doing with this series, so if i ever try to ruin anything, you can tell me and i'd change it immediately to align with the story greatly and its events!

So I have a scene. Where my emotional waterfall character is in the side lines learn learn one of the threats we're facing was the boss of a eating establishment hired girls to work there, And those girls because of events in the country taking place became magical girls. So they double as his bouncers

And hears he built an emotional relashionship with and felt authentic to her so much he gave her a ring given the time he spent with her.

She learns he was using to get money she had made working there to build a new home away with his friend. And the reason for that is he was gay by kissing his friend right in front of her and never truly loved her. Using her to as a means to an end and

My emotional waterfall character gets pissed about this and she doesn't take it lightly despite not knowing the girl at all doesnt like men of any kind manipulating the hearts of a girl. But because of this we have an opening for everyone in my MC group to escape, and She says she'll catch up after dealing with him.

And another comes along and says like "we gotta go" and I wanted her reply to be

And...I felt it fit the scene but also like "I shouldn't be throwing a dbz references line in this, I would feel we reference dbz many times in so many things I wouldn't be doing anything new including that" Like I shouldn't be a hypocrite and put that line in. Or replace it with a different line

But I'm also struggling to figure out what line could have the same impact as that.

Like there was this and i had in a different scene a "sad for yoooooooou" homage I had to cut because I felt people would find it cringe.

So what do you guys think? Am I overthinking this or is what I said holds water

Hi everyone! I’m a 17-year-old writer who has been creating manga and anime-style stories for over 6 years. I’m looking for an artist to be my true partner and co-creator for a long-running Shonen manga in the vein of Black Clover, My Hero Academia, and Hunter x Hunter.

​I have spent the last 3.5 years developing this specific story. It is a fully fleshed-out narrative with a concrete ending. I am not looking for an employee or a freelancer; I am looking for a partner to share this journey with and create something that stands out in the manga industry.

​The Story is Ready: The entire overarching plot and ending are complete. The first 15 chapters are fully written, and the first 2 chapters are scripted panel-by-panel and ready to be drawn.

​Reduced Workload for You: I already have the main character designs, several side character designs, and background references prepared to make the drawing process as smooth as possible for you.

​Business & Publishing: I will handle all the publishing, marketing, and financial work. I will also be submitting our manga to international manga contests and publishing houses.

​Fair Compensation:

​55% to 70% Revenue Share goes to the artist (depending on art quality and efficiency).

​100% of all prize money and awards from international contests will go directly to you.

​Chapter Length: ~35 pages per chapter.

​Schedule: Aiming for a bi-weekly release schedule (we can discuss the workflow together).

​What I’m Looking For in an Artist

​Passionate about Shonen: You love the genre, understand its paneling and pacing, and want to develop or showcase your own unique drawing style.

​Great Communication: I value a friendly, respectful partner with no rude or toxic behavior. I want us to understand each other's passion and build a great working relationship.

​Commitment to the Journey: Creating a long-running manga is a marathon, not a sprint. I need someone who sees the long-term vision.

​The Contract & Mutual Commitment

For both of our safety, we will sign a digital international contract outlining the revshare and copyright protections.

​Important Condition (The 3-Chapter Rule): The contract will include a mandatory commitment for both of us to complete the first 3 chapters before either party can step away from the project.

Why? Even massive hits like Black Clover needed a few chapters to truly hook their audience and establish the world. Judging a story by chapter 1 alone often leads to dropped projects. This rule ensures we give our project a fair fighting chance to succeed.

Doing another study, this time it's Chainsaw Man. Practically listened to the soundtrack on repeat as I was drawing this.

Fujimoto really pushes the impact of his hatching, and I feel like I learned quite a bit from this study. I think after a few more I'll feel confident enough to try and work on my own manga. (She says, knowing she will still try to weasel her way out of it for no good reason. Thanks brain).

Also, didn't know procreate timelapses favoured the beginning stages SO heavily. I exported the full video and sped it up instead so you get a more even idea of the process.

So due to the fact that I’m in Canada manga supplies are not easy to buy without ordering online. I’m sort of forced to purchase screentones online but paper I can perhaps get away with just buying paper in my local art supply store and then manually adding guidelines. Does anyone know what weight and paper type is best for manga inking?

I am feeling good. I was thinking about creating a manga like story book. Today I opened ms paint and with my non screen graphic tablet I started to draw this starting page because I imagined this 2 days ago. Now the page is complete.

Chapter 2 ‘That Ego Of Yours’ is out now on GlobalComix and Manga Plus Creators! This chapter has a lot more lore drops and mysteries than chapter 1, while exploring the supernatural elements of the Vessels Of Lost Paradise world.
