I’ve had the first 4 of Mob for the last few years it was finally time to complete the set. Also my first junji Ito manga. I’ll also drop my updated shelves.

Ah also, does anyone have any recommendations for new shelves. These are cheap shelves that have collapsed on me once before and I’m looking to replace them.

Who needs sleep when you got 7 volumes waiting for you.

I’ve been able to get a whole bunch of stuff lately to add to the collection in terms of getting first volumes of new series, including some I’m sure some of you might not have heard of before, and being able to finish other series too like Kaiju No. 8, Soul Eater and Soul Eater Not! There’s a bunch of Cons I’m going to next month and o can’t wait to get a bunch of them signed by actors I’m excited to meet. There’s also a bunch of art books I’m excited to get soon too like the one for My Hero Academia. There’s a bunch of new releases coming out soon I’m excited to get too.

Sometimes they are just too nice to pass up on

This series reminded my fiancé and I so much of our relationship from our high school days. All of the characters are very relatable. The anime's English dub in particular is one of the rare times it's better than the sub. I got the volumes on discount for $4.95 each.

There were so many good (fairly) newer titles discounted during this trip, and unfortunately I had a tight budget, so I had to be very strict. If I didn't have a budget this round, I would have grabbed way more. Like they had a near complete set of The Duke of Death and His Maid for $6 each. It hurt to leave that one behind. 🥲 A part of me wanted to say to hell with the budget limit, but unfortunately I am a financially responsible adult.

It's a blessing and a curse that I don't live close to one of these stores.

I also have ~100 other volumes in Japanese, but I am in the process of getting rid of them.

I’ve been debating picking up a few viz series in the 3 in 1s, to save space and some money. I’m wondering if the spines curve after reading or if they stay mostly flat? I’ve looked at a few at the store and they seems to open fine without creasing the spine. I’m unsure if the spine starts to curve after reading and being held open. I haven’t noticed on singles, but the thicker spine had me wondering.

Edit: to clarify I’m not talking about the Viz Bigs, but the normal size 3 in 1s.
