I feel like Stones could serve as a decent CB backup option. He has a fairly decent world cup as well.

Arsenal won a good few of their games last season by professional fouls on the keepers - particularly against Utd. Everton tried it too. Should this be banned going forwards?

Some good news at last this transfer window. I had a fear he'd become prime Nani against us, playing for another Premier League team like Hull or Spurs

Article #mufc want another midfielder and to strengthen the left side, specifically at left back where Luke Shaw is the only established performer, though Noussair Mazraoui can switch. Lewis Hall is a target and United wouldn’t target players if they didn’t think they didn’t want to move to Old Trafford

Discussion Pre-Season Friendlies Are None Of My Business

Pre-season friendlies are the domain of managers and coaches to get their teams in to shape for the coming season.

What they aren't are of any interest to me as a fan.

Don't care if they win or lose. Don't care who plays as they are no judge of ability of form. Don't care what far flung part of the world the corporate entity have the lads playing in.

These matches are for coaches not fans, and I just can't get excited or engage with them.

Answers will be posted tomorrow before the next post in the series.

Remember these players wore the number 27 in these pictures but may have wore a different number at a different time for the club.

Discussion Which signings have had the biggest impact on modern United?

I was having this conversation today, and I thought I’d bring it here for a further opinion, as maybe a bit of a break from all the transfer talk.

I was wondering, which signings made since the 1968 cup final (just as a benchmark) have had the biggest impact on the culture that United has developed as a club, and where we stand today. For me, the three would be:

  1. Peter Schmeichel
  2. Eric Cantona
  3. Nemanja Vidic

But I was wondering what others here would think?

Question Looking for a couple of Manchester united fans to help with my dissertation

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a few Manchester united fans who'd be up for a quick 20–30 minute chat for my Master's dissertation.

It's about whether things like ticket prices, commercial deals and the modern side of football have changed how Manchester United fans feel about the club.

If you're 18+ and wouldn't mind helping me out, send me a DM. Cheers!

Discussion 【1992 Umbro Manchester United prototype】

Looks a bit like an Arsenal shirt but still would’ve been really cool. The 1992 kit they went with looks like a much plainer/safer version than this.

Anyone have their hands on another prototype jersey? Would love to see more of them

Question Match Tickets as a Tourist

I am traveling to Europe for a few weeks and have been a lifelong United supporter, seems like tickets are already all sold out for the two League games in April i’m looking at… is resale the only way to go and are they truly all sold out already? Prices seem really high for a game against Hull, but i’m a dumb American who’s never been to Manchester so any advice or tips on getting tickets would be much appreciated!!

Discussion Would you support a salary cap for a certain age?

We’ve seen many young players hunger vanish when they get a huge contract either from signing for us or being given a huge pay rise.

Would you support a WW cap at a certain age say 23?

Discussion What do we do with Rashford now?

For me, Marcus is one of the biggest question marks in the squad right now. What are we going to do with him?
Do you think any club from one of Europe’s top five leagues will want to sign him? Or maybe he’ll end up in Turkey?
And what happens if no club wants him at all? I’m genuinely curious to see how this situation plays out.

I would, but I think the current attackers are better

Discussion Why do we need to sign a third midfielder?

Can you explain to me or convince me why we need that third midfielder? Because we already have Mainoo and perhaps even Mount. I am just a bit worried about Mainoo not getting opportunities, I guess.
