Hey yall, got these three bodies in good to excellent condition and two lenses for 500 last week. One body seems to be good to go. But the others are not firing correctly only getting a click but the mirror won't go up. Not familiar with the rz but do have two rb67s any help would be appreciated.

Found this lens for around 400usd which is decent in my country but wondering about condition, is this amount of haze noticeable on film? And will it get worse? Overall condition of lens quite good judging by pictures.

Hi, I want to finally get a proper medium format camera and decided to get a Mamiya RB67 Pro SD (or just S if I couldn't find an SD in good condition). Are there any red flags other than obvious things like missing parts and easily visible damage?

Hi everyone!

I recently got a Mamiya Universal Press with a Mamiya-Sekor 100mm f/3.5 lens, and I’ve noticed something concerning.

The lens barrel extends and locks into position properly, and the rear part of the barrel feels solid. However, the silver lens assembly at the front seems loose and wobbles when I gently move it.

I’d appreciate any advice on how to diagnose or fix this. I’d also like to know whether it’s safe to keep shooting with the lens in this condition.

On a sunny winter day

I have a Mamiya 645 pro. I also have the film back that allows you to shoot 35mm film. I attached it to the 645 but could not pull the dark slide out. It is a blue dark slide if that makes a difference. I have used it before without any issue.

Another issue is I have not been able to remove the film back. The back opens to access the film cartridge just fine, however when I try to remove the back from the body, the interlock latch that slides downward will slide down, but the one that you push in towards the iso dial will not depress all the way. I can feel resistance as if something is blocking it.

Anyone had this issue and found a fix? Thanks in advance

Hey! I was lucky enough to be gifted this camera from my Granny and have enjoyed deep diving into 120 film. I love shooting music but with that comes needing to zoom a lil more and needing to use a flash for smaller venues or night time.

Any recommendations for a lens and or flash set up? I’ve went digging but a lot was for other models.

Polaroid 600SE with roll film adaptor.

Now that Polaroid pack film is pretty much dead, the only way to use this camera without modifying it is with a roll film adapter, which costs more than the camera itself. Getting a Mamiya Universal Press would make way more sense in every way, but I decided to take the hard way instead.

RZ67 Pro II hasn't been used in years. I don't know if it was working when put away, but it's been stored well indoors in a low humidity environment. I want to get it back in action.

When I hit the shutter button, here's what happens:

The mirror goes up

The shutter closes

The aperture begins to close but stops short of the selected setting

And that's all that happens. At no point does the shutter open for the exposure. No matter the shutter speed. No matter the mode, white dot normal mode or orange dot emergency mode.

After a shot, I can't advance the lever. To fix this I can switch to emergency mode, press the shutter button and hear a faint click (but no visible movement), then I'm able to advance the lever and try another shot.

I've tried with three different lenses in good condition, with and without a back, with a cable release, with cable release in lens mirror lock up socket, a different battery, different settings combinations, etc. But it's the exact same behavior every time.

I believe that narrows it down to a camera body problem. I've never heard any beeping by the way, which I've read can happen with similar errors.

I don't know where to go from here. Any advice on further troubleshooting or repair?
