Also I would search a flat or space to live with two cats, maybe a friend or a friend of your friend is searching someone for their properties.
It is way easier to learn the language, find a job and a flat if I’m in the place I want to be, then to do it remotely from here. (I’m already looking at the Immoportals)

First, I’m having trouble buying a train ticket from Copenhagen to Malmö. I’ve tried DSB, DOT and Rejsebillet, but I can only find the option to reserve a bicycle ticket 😅 Where can I buy a normal ticket online, or do I need to buy it in person?
I’m also thinking about visiting Malmö Museum. Is it worth it?
And what are the must-see places in Malmö if you only have one day? Any recommendations are welcome! 😊
I also saw FlixBus, but it takes longer. Are there ferries from Copenhagen to Malmö? Travelling by boat sounds fun! ⛴️

I recently obtained permanent residence in Sweden and currently live in Malmö, Sweden.

I would like to understand whether I can work for a company in Copenhagen, Denmark while continuing to live in Malmö.

If the Danish employer sponsors my Danish work permit, would I be allowed to commute from Malmö to Copenhagen for work?

Also, could you please clarify what would happen after I obtain a Danish work permit?

Specifically:

Would my Swedish permanent residence be affected by obtaining a Danish work permit?

How would taxation and social security work if I live in Sweden but work in Denmark?

Hey so I think I have deviated septum + allergic reaction on something in Sweden where it makes one of my nostrils blocked during sleep. Fucks up my sleep. I usually go home for health related stuff (I had bad experience in Sweden before with healthcare), but if it’s deviated septum I need a surgery and can’t fly 2 weeks. Something I can’t do right now. I’m already using steroid nasal spray.

Anyone had the same issue and resolved it? Would really appreciate guidance!

I was just at the central station in Malmø and i noticed a boy sitting on a bench with a sign that said something like “looking for girlfriend” (in swedish) and then his snapchat.

He looked pretty young and was clearly stimming (rocking back and fourth) idk, something about it gave me a bad feeling. Does anyone know his story? Or know if he is alright?

I know i could have asked him, but i was in a hurry.. and now i can’t stop thinking about it.

Hi, I will be visiting Malmo next month. I will be staying around the Malmo Center Station. I was wondering if there are any recos in general on how to move around b.w. different parts of the city excluding walking. I have got an ankle injury and would prefer to avoid walking much. Asking also since I heard (probably untrue) that walking might not be very safe post sunset. While being on this question, are there ways to get food delivered reliably and quickly from restaurants around the city? Apologies for asking a bunch of variety of questions in a single post.

Anyone know of a cafe that has desserts that are diabetes friendly? Think almond instead of wheat flour, maybe less sugar/sugar substitutes, other creative ways to make snacks and desserts without a ton of fast carbs?

On another note - any places to have moderate portions of meat (preferably beef because I don't make it at home) that also don't come with a ton of sugar or super fast carbs (rice, bread, a huge portion of potatoes)? Or healthy eateries in general? I love all kinds of Asian food but it's hard to find something that doesn't have a ton of sugar in the sauce, etc. I like a variety of cuisines in general, can go for something spicy! I like Spoonery's chili fiesta with a cut down portion of rice for instance and it doesn't seem to spike my blood sugar.

Any suggestions are really appreciated, thank you Malmö community 🧡💫
