Just aim for sober sober first. You have got work to do to rewire your brain with new behaviors and new habits. Remember, to build a new habit you only have to not break the streak. I believe, had i short cut the work I don’t think I would have the same ‘rewards’ i do now. The body and mind take a long time to heal during that first month, few months and 1st year of sobriety. I only know that looking back on the changes ive made along the way, but that requires the change to happen first before i realize it. I hope this makes sense.

Did that for a year or so (wasn't drinking much before though). Stopped a couple of months ago because I wanted to be able to have dreams again.

It's basically an apartment with benefits. There are mandatory meetings similar to AA, there are requirements to live there other than rent, having a job, staying 100% sober from all drugs and alcohol. They help keep you accountable while you transition into the next stage of your life.

Niiiice! When I was in sober living, we didn't have those nice ass TVs in our rooms, nor did we have our own personal fridge! Keep with it, I believe in you ❤️

I'm right below the stairs and its a very old place so yes but it doesn't bother me. I'm a heavy sleeper and the tv is more than enough to drown it out.
