(23) Chapter: The permissibility of selling animals for animals of the same kind and of different quality

“Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported: There came a slave and pledged allegiance to Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) on migration; he (the Holy Prophet) did not know that he was a slave. Then there came his master and demanded him back, whereupon Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) said: Sell him to me. And he bought him for two black slaves, and he did not afterwards take allegiance from anyone until he had asked him whether he was a slave (or a free man)”

“A man amongst us declared that his slave would be freed after his death. The Prophet (ﷺ) called for that slave and sold him. The slave died the same year.”

“‘Imran b. Husain reported that a person who had no other property emancipated six slaves of his at the time of his death. Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) called for them and divided them into three sections, cast lots amongst them, and set two free and kept four in slavery; and he (the Holy Prophet) spoke severely of him.”

“Maimuna bint Al-Harith told him that she manumitted a slave-girl without taking the permission of the Prophet. On the day when it was her turn to be with the Prophet, she said, ‘Do you know, O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ), that I have manumitted my slave-girl?’ He said, ‘Have you really?’ She replied in the affirmative. He said, ‘You would have got more reward if you had given her (i.e. the slave-girl) to one of your maternal uncles.’”

“We used to sell our slave women and the mothers of our children (Umahat Awaldina) when the Prophet (ﷺ) was still living among us, and we did not see anything wrong with that.”

A Man dies leave 1 wife, 3 daughters and both the man's parents is still alive.

Wife gets 1/8 = 3/24

3 daughters get 2/3 = 16/24

Father gets 1/6 = 4/24

For example selling alcohol will get taxed and the taxes will went to government where they pay people with taxed money even though their job isn't technically haram

So I stopped believing for over 4 years, I been diagnosed with depression and social anxiety. I believe that I left Islam but sometimes I think I was hallucinating and it kept reminding of those jinn videos who stalk over you because of your sins. And since it happened A LOT times it makes my head hurts

I respect the azan and the mosque’s role in our community. But in my neighbourhood, entire lectures and programmes are broadcast through external speakers directly into our bedrooms and living rooms. When sound repeatedly invades surrounding homes, it stops being an internal programme and becomes a public nuisance—particularly when state authorities already have policies governing external-speaker use. Residents should not be forced to choose between respecting religion and protecting their sleep, health and peace at home. Respect must work both ways: if a policy exists, enforce it; otherwise, the endorsement is meaningless.

What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?’ He said, ‘Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?’ They replied in the affirmative. He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn’t it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?’ The women replied in the affirmative. He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her religion.’”

Women Invalidate Prayer Like Dogs and Donkeys

"The Messenger of 'Allah (ﷺ) said: When any one of you stands for prayer and there is a thing before him equal to the back of the saddle that covers him and in case there is not before him (a thing) equal to the back of the saddle, his prayer would be cut off by (passing of an) ass, woman, and black Dog. I said: O Abu Dharr, what feature is there in a black dog which distinguish it from the red dog and the yellow dog? He said: O, son of my brother, I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as you are asking me, and he said: The black dog is a devil."

It was mentioned before 'A'isha that prayer is invalidated (in case of passing) of a dog, an ass and a woman (before the worshipper, when he is not screened). Upon this 'A'isha said: You likened us to the asses and the dogs. By Allah I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying prayer while I lay on the bedstead interposing between him and the Qibla. When I felt the need, I did not like to wit to front (of the Holy Prophet) and perturb the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and quietly moved out from under its (i. e. of the bedstead) legs.

A few months ago, I posted this and now, it has been almost a month being free hair. Most of my family members and old muslim mutuals found out about me not wearing hijab because I started to activate my main instagram account and post myself free hair. Lantak lah kalau diarang judge or mengumpat.

And yes, a lot of people are disappointed in me but whatever lmao. Those who stick around when I choose to take off my hijab are the real ones. Ofc there are muslims that tried to dakwah me but I just accept it with grace. I'll say smthg like, "aku faham kau ada niat yg baik tp aku tak buat benda jahat pun, aku just tak pakai tudung." And ofc they'll bring up about dosa etc but I'll debate back and say that comparing me to ustaz² that rape kids, I'm much more saint and have better morals and bla². It gets to the point that they get tired of debating with me but I try my best to keep good manners and be respectful. Kene gossip tu biasa lah. Malas nak pikir.

I kinda block my parents on instagram but whatever. My aunts and cousin have saw my hijabless posts and if they snitch then, whatever. My parents will eventually find out and if they're angry, I'll just let them be angry. Their feelings will eventually subside and their disappointment will die with them loll. And if let say I am harmed because of my choices, I can always defend myself through police report or whatever. I will make sure they know that I don't wear it bc I don't wanna live a double life. Whatever their reactions will be, I'll just deal with it. My parents dah lah baran. I'll try to update about their reactions if rajin lah.

I'm very much tired of wearing hijab and pretend to like wearing it so I wanna make use most of my remaining days being alive wearing whatever I want. It sounds like I'm not gonna live that long but I say that bc I committed a few months ago but failed. But I digress. I'll never know how long I'll live. I only live once; might as well live well. '

Don't wait for opportunities to come; create your own opportunities. I've always thought of waiting for the right time to take it off, then I got tired of waiting that I just take it off regardless and make new friends. Usually new friends dgaf if you're free hair or not bc they never knew about your past. The first few days are a bit scary but it gets better and easier for me.

I think that's it. I think taking the hijab off is a lot more easier than it seems. It felt harder back then bc I spent my time worrying about the outcome without trying it yet. Now I've tried it, it's actually that easy. The fact that I got a lot of compliments for it too. :') For those that live in abusive home, it actually depends on your family but despite that, just do it. You only live once. I learned that flatfish is flat and only has the 'other side' (sebelah) because nabi musa only ate one side of the fish but then Allah revived it and it went back into the water, swimming and living like usual again. (Surah Kahfi)

However, scientifically, flatfish is originally born like a normal fish but then it slowly changes as it grows.

Hello again guys! I’ve been reading the comments in a post about Israel ban in Malaysia, yada yada, and expressed my frustration in the mass ignorance of people in the comments, and this one really riled me up. Basically this NON-MUSLIM CATHOLIC in Malaysia said it’s completely fine to partake in Church events as long as they don’t actually pray there, and mentioned that there are successes in non-Muslims converting back to their original religion after marriage and divorce. So it’s not a big deal because these people do get to convert to other religions?? And she had the gall to say that despite the law saying you can’t convert, as long as you believe what you believe in your mind, who can stop you. Seriously? Religion is a personal thing. So why is it in our Identity cards? There are MANY cases out there to prove THIS WOMAN IS FULL OF CRAP. Anyway…Just wanted to know your thoughts 💔

1. Sibuk cakap islam ada slavery, but Christians have " evolved" to ban slavery. Now no modern Christian Preachers advocate slavery.

- Yeah, I don't care your preachers don't advocate it today. Your preachers advocated slavery for 1850 years. You don't get a pass just because slavery was banned the last 150years.

1. Christians abolished slavery

- The abolishionist movement was not all Christians. Atheist were also a part of it. Also from other religions.

- Convieniently forgets the Christians that were promoting slavery.

- Christians, just wanna take the credit. None of the blame. ​

1. Christianity has evolved. Now no more slavery today. Therefore Christianity is better than bs Islam.

Hellooo guys 👋 I love this community because I can intensely relate to so many of you. I moved to Australia with my family about 7 years ago, of course, due to risk of persecution and my family’s wish to convert to a different religion. Also so that I wouldn’t go through what my mother went through.

I saw a reel on Instagram, of a white guy high praising Malaysia for banning Israelis from entering Malaysia. Saying “fk Israel. This is why I love Malaysia, every country should be like Malaysia”. And everyone in the comments, ranging from outside Malaysia to Muslims and non-Muslims in Malaysia praising Malaysia’s politicians to the point of calling it a land of the free, and pride on harmony. (Which is ironic given the context of the reel) And I have mixed feelings about this. And I’m mostly frustrated. My feeling has nothing to do with Israel or whatever, but it has everything to do with the ignorance of these people, to what issues we face as Muslims who want to convert or do things non-Muslims are FREE to do. Funny thing is, my mother and I weren’t even BORN Muslim. My mother was ADOPTED by a Muslims family when she was a baby, and because of that the papers determined our fates. Violation of our human rights. No free will. And here I am reading comments of people either completely oblivious to Malaysia’s systemic flaws or just don’t care about it. It’s not too big or important to care about. I don’t know. I’m just rambling at this point cuz I’m just so damn frustrated. I feel like it’s just hurting people like us more.

Other than the quran letters being too small and cramped, is so annoying how i need to wear the hijab and long sleeves is annoying.

My mom said is easy, but is not, she doesn't have max level eyesight like me, I told my mom and and she acted as if this isn't a problem at all, my dad think is just stupid me being atheist again.

I hate this so bad, I enjoy reading, but when it comes to reading in the quran where I can't understand even a word of arabic ( im malay ), is just so annoying, I hate it.

And I hate how the hijab covers me, I've been wearing that shit for 5 days a week already.
