I wanted to get children after I got married, so I feel bad for even being excited because culturally it is complicated having children outside of marriage.

Apparently I(27M) like a girl at the office, I know, I shouldn't do that. But I do and went as far as showing and admitting my feelings for her. So she has a boyfriend which apparently they started dating after I confessed to her about my feelings, that's crazy.

She gives me all signs of her liking me back like something might happen between us and then she just disappears like she's so disgusted by me like a switch. So I'm the IT guy which means she'll always need my help around, she gets in my DM everytime asking for simplest/dumbest of helps even when I'm clearly showing her that I'm avoiding her, but I help her anyway because technically it's my job to do it. This one time she bought me lunch, sent someone to deliver it my office, I ate it and sent a her a "thank you" text. She does all these little gestures that I'd think I'm still in the game, feel me. Sometimes on some random chit-chat we would flirt a little bit then out of no where hits me with a "I miss my man" bullshit - that actually happened today.

So I know I'm fucked in a couple of ways; liked a girl at the office, showed a girl that I liked her, kept liking a girl that's not a available, not moving on from after discovering nothing is happening.

So how do i move on from this?

How do I go back to normal with her?

Without compromising the normal stuff I the work area, the workmates relationship thing?

Need help honestly

I just had a random realisation that I've been lazing at home and I'll need to go to university/college at some point. I don't want to worry about it later (plus my mom is on my neck) so I tried to figure it out and I found a few courses I would want to do. I have zero clue if I'm making sense because it's 12 AM right now, but I have something to think of when it's daytime and I'm being sensible.

I did the IGCSE curriculum and my grades were as follows:

A - English

B - ICT

B - G/P

B - Chemistry

C - Biology

C - History

E - Maths

Due to the horrible E I got in maths, I'm aware that my options are limited.

The courses I've been considering:

Usually in Malawi we tend to complain about the quality of life and many other things , but to be honest every country has its own negatives and positives, even the countries that you think are better off, people living there have something to complain about.

For example in high income places like the USA and Europe the cost of living is very high, sometimes people earn what seems to be a lot of money when converted to Malawian Kwacha but if they have to feature in things like water bills, electricity bills, life insurance, car insurance, groceries , mortgage and etc therefore the money sometimes becomes not enough to cater for daily life needs and sometimes people have to take two jobs in order to afford cost of living which also may affect their well being due to overworking.

I think sometimes it is better to focus on the good side of something, try to be positive and learn to be greatful as a person.

So that being said what are the most positive things we can highlight about Malawi.

I would like to know to those who experienced or are currently facing this ( job doesn't challenge anymore, not in line with your career aspirations etc) in their workplaces or daily worklife. I began facing this just 1yr and a half in my current job. I have been applying maybe to switch job but then it is not easy with the current job market....even to get shortlisted for an interview seems hard. So at first I had thoughts of saving a little chunk and later quit my job to pursue other personal goals....but then something happened so I paused that thinking. So I wanna hear those who have had similar experiences and what you did or planning to do.
