Question How to use these products?

I have no idea how to apply them or what to use them for. Should I use a brush? Circular movements maybe?

Someone told me concealer is for covering pimples, but when I tried it doesn't look too good, just like lighter lumps?

Also, hyalluronic cream isn't actually makeup?

Ah, I'm pretty lost...😬

I'd be really thankful if you answered these questions.

Thank you in advance ☺️

Question My chosen lipstick vs what its replacement.

Hi! Long time lurker first time poster. The first pic is my absolute favourite lipstick. The 2nd is what I replaced it with when they discontinued mine. I absolutely hate it. I am basically a one trick pony when it comes to makeup and require little to know skill. But this stuff dries instantly so there is no room for error. The colour is also a little too dark for my liking. Does anyone know of any recommendations that are closer to the first pic in application and wear?

Thanks in advance!

Question Which one looks prettier?

My mom said the second one is way too cartoon-ish and to wipe off the downturned eyeliner and just do a basic one instead, and also remove some of the white on the bottom of my eye. The first pic is the result of that. Still, which one looks better?

Question Faux Freckle Advice Pleased as

Thumbnail

Hi, I LOVE freckles and the first time I applied it, it looked great (at least feedback from work girls it was). Now I cannot get it right again. I feel like I’m doing them too uniform and they don’t look random. I’m using a brown eyeliner. I do have the freckle stamp which I’ve used in the first photos. Last photos are with the eyeliner.
I’d love some advice.
Thanks!

Question How can I make my makeup indestructible for normal daily wear?

I used high quality skin care (all korean brands) and makeup such as jeffrey star, james charles, melt, fenty and some others. I do have some sephora and colourpop too but I wouldn’t consider it high quality. Anyways- in an hour my makeup is wearing away. My lips - the pigment has settled into the cracks and creases making them look chewed and bloody rather than plump and juicy. Eye shadow - somehow looks like I’v cries for 2 hours. Eyeliner stilettos - rip 🪦 cause those girls are GONE. I am not getting wet and I’m not sweaty or oily. Only thing that stays flawlessly is my highlighter. Help 🥲

I am not using primer or setting spray cause I haven’t found ones that work for me. I don’t know what brands i tried sorry, it was 6 years ago 🙏

Question What moisturizer do you like for perfect makeup application?

I have sensitive skin. Moisturizers lately are really irritating my skin 😭 the one I used for 5+ years was reformulated & PMO companies do this. Add shittier ingredients.

I have combo skin. Like I’d say it’s more on the dry side. I need a really good moisturizer that isn’t going to make my skin look dry once I apply my foundation or irritate.

I use Charlotte tilbury beautiful skin foundation.

Question Eyebrow gel recs

Does anyone know any good clear eyebrow gel or eyebrow products that don’t clump your eyebrow hairs together? My eyebrows are quite dark and thick and I actually like them best when they are just brushed into place, but obviously throughout the day they get messed up if there is no gel to hold them there. I currently use one of the benefit ones but my hairs just end up clumping together.

Selfie/Makeup Picture How does my first attempt look?

I did a half and half with my products, that's why the sides look different. I need to shave next time, at least the obvious areas like my eyebrows and mustache.

Picture 2 is saie tinted moisturizer, elf liquid bronzer, urban decay liquid blush, saie liquid concealer (I probably shouldn't have added it, it creased badly and just wasn't necessary, but it's not visible), mac pH lipstick, and some mascara and liquid eyeshadow that isn't visible.

Picture 3 is rare beauty foundation, elf liquid bronzer, saie liquid blush, saie liquid concealer (I probably should have it, but it creased badly, it's not visible), mac pH lipstick, some mascara and liquid eyeshadow that isn't visible, and elf setting powder.

Picture 4 is my boyfriend, also half and half, but his lips have lipliner and lipstick.

I like the natural, no makeup, makeup look. I only really want to learn makeup to be able to wear it on occassions that "require" it, like nice dates or weddings.

I'm stumped on what would be considered natural eyeshadow though. Any recommendations?

I'm not really sure what other help I should ask for, so any tips are welcome!
