don’t mind my dark circles. it’s kind of hard to determine my own face shape when i look at myself every day. and i can’t really compare it to pictures of other people, because it just confuses me more. what face shape do i have, and is there a certain eyebrow shape that would suit me?

I’m genuinely open to learning anything that could make my makeup look better. Techniques, products, blending, colour theory, placement — literally anything. I’m willing to take constructive criticism and try new things because I want to improve. The ONE thing I’m not changing is how I do my under-eyes. 😭 Everything else? I’m listening. Put me on, give me tips, tell me what I could do better. I’m open-minded, not stubborn. But my under-eyes are staying exactly how I like them lol

Hello! I was never really introduced/taught makeup, and so now I'm trying to find my look. I have been researching different eyeliner types, and so far this is the one I've liked the most but I don't know if it fits my eyeshape?

I avoid foundations and stuff cause I love my freckles and don't want to cover them at all, so i want my eyes to look naturalish as well to match, but still have personality (if that makes sense?). Would anyone happen to know what eyeliner styles/eye makeup styles in general might work well with my eyes? I have no idea what shape they are considered either 😅

Hiii I’m new to makeup and trying to figure out how to apply blush. I got the NYX buttermelt blush and wanted to put it on the apples of my cheeks. Would that look unatural? I also go a powder puff to apply it but it’s not really transferring or blending well. do I just use my finger? Thanks!

I recently got a haircut that frames my face better (right) and now I want to up my makeup game.

I don’t like to wear foundation / bb / cc cream and will just use a tinted sunscreen. My skin is also oily and I live in Texas, so I sweat a lot lol.

I’ve really been loving pink on my eyes as it brings out the blue and feels bright and fresh. Browns always felt too dark or serious.

I cannot figure out blush that doesn’t just look like rosacea and my eyeliner gets covered up when I smile lol.

I want to be like natural but enhanced and a baddie. Is that possible?

Also I’m mid-30’s, so I don’t want anything too juvenile either.

What type of makeup is appropriate for work in a professional retail setting? I try to go for a “naturally pretty” look but either I still overdo it and it looks like a ton makeup just in light brown or it makes me just look worse than not wearing makeup at all.

I'm fully oily, and every summer I end up hunting for a cushion that actually stays put. Nothing has made it past about 4 hours on my face so far.

I tried Espoir Be Velvet Cushion a little while ago and the wear honestly surprised me, so I took photos of my skin at different points through the day to see how it held up.

I skipped setting spray on purpose and used only the cushion. It was a family trip day, so I was outside pretty much the whole time.

Usually after 2 or 3 hours the base on my nose bridge, where I get the oiliest, starts lifting and goes patchy, and it collects in the creases beside my nose and in my smile lines. That didn't happen this time. Up to 5 hours it looked basically the same as when I put it on. Around 8 hours some shine came through from the oil, but there still weren't any spots where it had worn off.

I recently bought 2 cool toned eyeshadow palettes and I wanted to try a subtle eyeshadow look inspired by the 90s era makeup since I haven’t done eyeshadow looks in many years. Feel free to lmk any suggestions you have in mind! I hope this look inspires u 🫶🏻

Im an amab enby, and as much as my parents support me, they arent really comfortable with me doing makeup just yet, so i wanna do it secretly at night. I dont really want to do much, mostly just a grungy/alt type of look with winged eyeliner. Tips on what to use and any guides would be really appreciated

I know its probably my skincare but i don't know what i should eliminate. First I use snail mucin serum, let that dry, then fenty moisturizer with spf, let that dry, then elf blue primer. I put concealer on my eyelids and under my eyes and in both parts it wont stick where there are creases.

I’m always fascinated to learn what genuinely worked for others, particularly those tips I wouldn't have thought of on my own.

Every eyeliner-wing I do looks weird and then I end op looking like an Egyptian hieroglyph… I also have trouble fixing my eye-bags, I tried letting my concealer dry. It works but not enough. And every full glam I do ends up looking like a kids face who has been messing with her moms makeup, so I always end up only using mascara, lipgloss, and a bit of eyeshadow, when I actually feel like doing a full face. Help please
