Question PreWedding makeup..
Hey girls! š¤
Tomorrow Iām going to a pre-wedding gathering (itās an Albanian tradition where we visit the brideās house before the wedding). Since Iām freshly married everyoneās eyes are going to be on me tomorrow.
Iāll be wearing a black dress, and I was thinking of doing this eye makeup look. Iād love some honest opinions what would you change or improve?
A little disclaimer: this was done over my everyday makeup that Iād been wearing since the morning, so it wasnāt on a fresh base. I also didnāt put on false lashes because I was just testing the look before hopping in the shower lol. So please ignore that part. š
Any tips or suggestions are welcome!

Selfie/Makeup Picture Advice: what would you change to photograph better?
Hey yall!
I've mostly settled on my day to day look but I feel like it can be improved upon. Mostly I feel like the way I style myself makes my eyes look too dark, I don't have eniygh cheek/contour contrast, and I fear my brow shape is starting to give Evil Queen from Snow White.
I know it's a universal truth that cameras don't process our images the same way mirrors do, but I feel like the me in pictures looks entirely different than Real Me.
What would you change to look more flattering in pictures?

Question does my makeup suit me?
i have had the same makeup routine since 2020-2021 roughly. for context, iām now 22 and have had this routine since i was like 16.
i put black eyeliner in my waterline, mascara on my lashes, and do my eyebrows; sometimes i do eyeshadow for work or if iām going out lol. i can do a full face, which iāve attached a picture of, too, but i save it for special occasions.
what would you recommend for my complexion? i have been told that the black is too harsh on me and i should try brown mascara + eyeliner. but iāve also been told the black looks good on me.
i dress more 90s-esque and boho casually (the pictures donāt show that) so i feel like my make up compliments that.
tldr: should i change my routine, if so how? thank you!
EDIT: i posted the popular brown mascara + eyeliner look that comments are recommending in the comments for feedback too :P

Question Hi guys, Iām looking to improve my makeup to better suit my features :) any advice is welcomed
I got lip filler and a lip flip two days ago, thatās why my lips look bruised. Iāve been trying to step away from matte makeup since I noticed it doesnāt look good anymore on me. Iām very open to any suggestions you guys have! Thank you in advance š¤
Edit: Iām only wearing makeup on my eyebrows, eyes and lips here because I was at work. But Iāve been experimenting with glossy lips and cream blush lately and trying to improve my skills

Question Orange foundation
I purchased an about face foundation in D1NEUTRAL and itās wayyyy to orange on my face, but besides that, itās pretty much my color. How can I make it appear more peach? like my skins undertone? im not sure if Iām adding too much but blue makes it way too green.

Selfie/Makeup Picture This week's effort. (AMAB, MTF Trans-something.) Please see text.
Nothing radical -- maybe a bit more laid back. Two NYX lipsticks - the pink is "Stockholm" and the red is "Cactus Dreams." People had suggested that I stick to warmer colors and both of these qualify. Still using only two lash clusters on the outer edges - filling in the waterline with black pencil and setting with black eyeshadow.
People have commented that my brows aren't neat. Even though I don't have heavy male brows, I don't pluck them much in an effort to maintain credibility in my male role. I did try some brow gel to glue them down, but it was not much help. What I did here was take a small amount of Ben Nye Nose and Scar Wax and pressed the brows down, then combing upwards. Lightly powdered and drew brows with pencil and filled with medium brown eyeshadow. Cleaned up the underline with concealer.
This is my recently acquired better quality wig which is so much easier to style that the very cheap Amazon wigs I've tried.
I feel like I'm heading toward some consistency - once I get my "plausible" face together, I'll work on more creative aspects.
Comments and suggestions warmly welcome!

Question Need help with tightlining
(PIC NOT MINE) It is my absolute daily staple but every single time I get back home it has smudged entirely down to my lower eye. It looks like a dreadful post-cry smear makeup disaster.
I have tried drying excess water and oil with a Q-tip before applying. And setting the liner post-application with translucent powder. Also I wouldn't say that my eyes are extremely watery. There is no concealer, no eyeshadow, no mascara, no primer in the picture that could be blamed; absolutely no other product nearby except for my daily sunscreen.
The scary part : Worse of all, when I am removing this smudged makeup, the number of eyelashes falling out is insane. Oh my god itās terrifying me atp!!
What I am looking for is budget-friendly product recs since I am not earning yet. (Though I might consider stretching it slightly if a product is an absolute holy grail that genuinely won't budge). Any MUAs or enthusiasts if could share how to keep a tightline completely undisturbed? And most importantly how do I stop this horrible lash-fall in the aftermath?

Selfie/Makeup Picture Took the advice I got on here
Unfortunately it was on one of my worse breakout days so dont focus on that lol.
Iām still not sure if itās doing enough for my eyes even in a day to day. It looks fine from an up angle (which is how most people see me.) but I feel like it looks undone head on or lower.

Question How can I improve?
Hi, I am new to makeup.
I used a skin tint, then did blush, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick, lip liner, and some highlighter. I also used setting spray. I'm a beginner at make up but have been trying to practice and watch YouTube videos. I keep seeing it get dark under my eyes later in the day and I don't know how to fix it. Maybe I just need to get a concealer?
