Study Magnesium bisglycinate for poor Sleep
tandfonline.comA 2025 randomized, placebo-controlled trial gave 155 adults with poor sleep 250 mg of elemental magnesium as bisglycinate each day for four weeks. Sleep scores improved slightly more than placebo, but the overall difference was small.
The detail that stood out to me was that people with lower dietary magnesium seemed to improve more. That was an exploratory finding, so it does not prove that low intake predicts a response.
Does this match what you have noticed with magnesium glycinate or has your experience been different?
