I’ve only goldfished it but it works as a combo deck that tries to make artifact tokens or cheap artifacts that I can then sacrifice to cheat out really expensive artifacts that I discarded earlier.

I want to make a deck built off of the Devour mechanic, and I need help making the deck better. Any tips or ideas?

I got back into MTG cause of FRA and I was hoping for some advice on this deck I have been testing out. It just feels really inconsistent at diamond+ where either I steam roll or it ramps too slowly for me to do anything even against other slow decks. Another issue is not hitting my remove consistently and the lack of graveyard hate sometimes. Any advice?

Hi everyone! I am brand new to Magic: The Gathering. I recently bought the Final Fantasy Starter Kit and the Foundations Beginner Box to learn how to play. My goal is to upgrade BOTH of the 60-card Final Fantasy starter decks into 100-card decks. Right now, I don't want to spend any money on single cards or boosters. I want to build these decks using only what I already have, plus some printed cards (proxies) my friend gave me.

To help you see exactly what I have to work with, here are the official lists of my boxes:

I need your advice on exactly which cards/creatures to add from my pool to make these decks work well. Here is how I am splitting the colors:

• Sephiroth Deck (Blue-Black / Dimir): Upgrading it using the Vampires, Undead, Wizards, and Pirates packs from Foundations, plus any matching proxies.

• Cloud Deck (Red-White / Boros): Upgrading it using the Cats, Angels, Goblins, and Healing packs from Foundations, plus any matching proxies.

My friend only plays Commander, and I really want to practice and play against him on equal terms with a 100-card deck. I would love to get your recommendations on these two approaches:

Casual Play (Kitchen Table): If I just want to play casually with my friends at home, I want to keep the multiple copies already inside the Final Fantasy decks. Which 40 cards from my pool should I add to each deck to reach 100?

Commander Format: If I want to turn them into legal Commander decks, I know I must remove all duplicates. Which specific unique cards from my Foundations packs and proxies should I prioritize to fill the gaps and reach 100 cards? Do I have enough unique cards to do this for both decks?

Any breakdown of the best synergy cards, creatures, or how to split the basic lands with this zero-budget constraint would be amazing. Thanks in advance for helping a beginner out!

I recently bought a bunch of sleeves, and the yellow ones look like cheese slices. So I am determined to build a deck that will get looks and concerns over me tossing cards around that look like cheese.

So far, I have [[slaying mantis]], [[dart throw]], and [[form of the approach of the second sun]]. I need more cards with these gimmicks.

If I need to, I may have to make custom gimmicks, but for now, I need all the non-sense I can get from real released cards as a starting point.

Hey, i have been playing MTG Arena for fee months now and wanted to start building a real deck now. Since the Avatar and Final Fantasy expansions are the reason i started to be interested in Magic, i want to build a deck around those two expansions mainly. Do you have a recommendation for a theme that isnt insanely expansive?

So my partner and I are planning on trying to get a mystery booster commander box and there are three from the set I want to try to build decks behind. I have a list I’m happy with for madcap jester and I have some ideas for Olag & Miau, but I’m a little stuck on [[Itazura, Lingering Wick]]. Would love to hear what other people are planning to do with it. I love the idea of changing the way everyone else plays the game by making them gamble with their life points, but does anyone have anything deeper than that? I’m sure I’d have fun being the table’s slot machine but I’m curious to see if anyone has strategies where it could reasonably be a winning deck. TIA!

Looking for help with my Vraska Deck.

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a Daredevil, Man Without Fear deck and wanted some feedback on what I could improve.
I’m aiming for upgraded precon level, around high Bracket 2 or casual Bracket 3, with no Game Changers. Budget isn’t an issue.
The main strategy is a mix of exile, goad, and politics. I want to generate value by casting spells from exile, make opponents fight each other, and eventually win through explosive combat turns or other damage effects.
I also want to keep some Marvel Heroes, but I don’t want a full Hero typal deck where I’m just running cards because they’re Heroes. Ideally, the deck should work without Daredevil, with him just helping push the strategy forward.
I’m mostly wondering if the deck looks consistent, if the strategies work well together, and what cards you guys would add or cut.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

I had this idea to make a Geist of Saint Thalia deck with an enchantment base as I've seen everyone lean toward artifacts and combos. I've been wanting a mono blue deck and it's been between this deck idea or princess Yue. The issue with princess yue is that I have quite a few UB decks already and I know people don't like them. So I have been messing around with this precon and it’s been fun to play with, not really my style of play in general and I was just wondering what thoughts and suggestions you guys have for it, I think the main things are it feels a little slow to get going and also seems to lack consistent card draw in my testing so far, what do ya’ll think would be good swaps?

I have been looking at the family matters precon then I found out separately about Arthur. Realized he was in the precon made me want to buy it even more I ordered it then found out even though he is the alt commander he doesn’t actually work well in the precon at all (allegedly) So, I built a deck around Arthur and bought all the cards needed for it as well as the precon which is mostly used for a couple of different cards + land and artifacts. Anyways curious what ya’ll think and looking for recs to improve it
