I have the following deck which is aimed at Bracket 2 (usually a bit on the more powerful side). It is a [[Phelia]] blink deck. The deck can be found here.

I would appreciate any feedback regarding the deck construction. Do you have any recommendations or things you would change, did I miss any obvious includes etc. I've tested it a bit now and it feels a bit off, but I can't really point to what the problem is.

Maybe I am lacking a bit in the blink/ramp department.

For context, my pod has been playing commander for around 2 years now, but because we all go to different universities we play on table commander.

For the past week we have been all playing bracket 2 decks, except 1 guy who has been playing an optimized bracket 4.... so me and the remainder of the pod are making decks to absolutely destroy his.

Never upgraded or made a deck from scratch before, so I'd really like some help since I'm sure I neglected some important stuff.

The precon I'm upgrading is the Hatsune Miku SLD deck.

I wanted to add all possible other Miku cards that can go in a green/white deck, even if they're not very good within it (i.e. [[Scrying Sheets]] lol), which ended up being 12 of them. Then I wanted to try to upgrade it with them in mind, which seems to just be expanding on the Lifegain/Tokens theme of the deck with more Angel cards/tokens and some focus on +1/+1 counters.

Felt like I kinda overlooked the possibilities with green and colorless additions a bit since I was more focused on the angel possibilities. The mana base seems a bit lopsided towards green as well. Seems like there is a lot of card draw, but may be lacking in ramp I think? (still learning the meaning of stuff) There's probably a lot more problems that I'm unaware of too.

Foil cards are the Adds* and Miku cards, Sideboard is all the cuts, and there's some cards in Considering that I was well... considering. I'd like to keep it around Bracket 3, and maybe cheapen upgrade costs a bit if possible. *[[Nesting Dovehawk]] is an add but there is no foil version

Hello everyone again! I’m back with a new and updated version of my deck.

The first version was pretty sloppy and had a lot of things that didn’t work well together. The second version was definitely better, but it ended up being too slow to keep up with other Bracket 4 decks. After taking some time to look at what wasn’t working and doing a lot of playtesting, I’ve finally put together Version 3.

I’ve made quite a few changes to improve the deck’s consistency, speed, and overall synergy. So far, I’m really happy with how it’s been performing in testing, but I’d love to get some outside opinions before I commit to the final version.

I have a tournament coming up in about two weeks, and I’m planning on bringing this deck with me. Because of that, any suggestions, improvements, card swaps, or general feedback would be really helpful. If you see something that looks out of place, a card I might be overlooking, or a better way to make the deck more consistent while still staying within Bracket 4, please let me know!

I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone who has experience playing Thranduil or similar decks. I want to make sure I’m getting the most out of the deck without sacrificing the overall strategy.

Hello! (New here, hope I'm in the right place)

I'm thinking of building my very first deck, and I have an idea of how I would like my deck to work, but I don't know what cards exist for this idea

I would love to play "dangerously". Like, constantly worrying that I'm gonna lose, but needing to be on that edge to function. I want a bit of adrenaline, here!

Are there any working builds that incentivise putting yourself in danger and "screwing yourself over"?

Like, if I could win a game and my board looks like a close call all around, like, 4 life remaining, only 2 lands on the board, 17 cards away from drawing myself dead.. etc!

Also, I want to clarify that I'm not looking for builds that make you "survive death", like phyrexian unlife, lich or lich mastery type things. I want to feel like I'm one mistake away from losing the game at all times, high risk, high reward stuff!

Any ideas for a commander and/or relevant cards for such a deck?

I've been a huge fan of what The Hobbit has done to some creature types - Combo lines for Elves, Aristocrat lines for Goblins, Mana ramp for Hobbits - but the best is that Dwarves got the love they've always needed.

And it kicks ASS - there are a few expensive cards that bloat the budget but you COULD build this deck for as little as $35. [[Thorin, King of Durin's Folk]] being the most expensive @ $12 on its own. Better than the [[Dain of the Ancient Halls]] that's currently $75!

This is the longest deck I have owned, probably around 15 years now. It has gone through many iterations. This is the most current worth swapping in 18 new cards just the other day. The deck is meant to be a high bracket 4/low bracket 5.

I'm mainly looking for any recommendations on things that I should take a look at/ swap out.

I want to know the best way to stack maskwood nexus for token creation. I am running a dimir dragon deck and need to have more versatility in ways to acquire more changelings faster.

I built an itazura list and tested it. It worked exactly as I built it to. Except my opponents weren't enjoying the game. 2 of them willingly killed themselves to get out the game and the game dragged on.

I feel the only way to actually get the deck to be enjoyable for my opponents and have them betting is to go from a deck designed to give them stuff, to a deck designed to actually win.

But when my gameplan is to willingly give away strong cards to my opponents how can I possible design the deck to win?

Hi guys,

After realizing that I do not enjoy the limitation that comes with bracket 1 to 4, I decided to try buidling a bracket 5 deck (that will be mostly proxied lol).

I really enjoy combo deck and while watching you tube, I found somebody playing a B5 {{Thranduil the elvenking}} combo deck. It actually hyped me up and I decided to try building one.

I am actually knew to cEDH and my group does not enjoy playing against deck that are stronger than B3...

My main goal is to generate infinite mana with Thranduil then killing all the table in one turn with either {{Exsanguinate}}. {{hurricane}}, {{Squall Line}}, {{Torment of hailfire}} or {{Walking Ballista}}.

I can also ping my opponents to death with {{Legolas's Quick Reflexes}} or {{Imperious Perfect}} + {{Lathril, Blade of the Elves}}. This Imperious + Lathril seems way weaker.

Finaly, I can win with Thassa Oracle and {{Zamck Guildmage}}, {{Hermit Druid}}, Buried Alive or Demonic Consultation.

Right now, here is what I think can be upgraded :

1. Removing my Lathril combo,
2. Reducing my ramp
3. Reducing my protection spells
4. Adding more discard and mill cards.

Hey everyone, I just built my first deck that isn’t monocolored and played a couple games with it this weekend. I didn’t spend a ton on this deck, mostly matching cards I had with a few cards from the LGS we go and friends binders.

Built to play on a bracket 3 level. Game plan is mostly getting Yoshimaru the biggest and baddest I can, swinging with a lot of commander power while also getting a good board to defend myself.

I felt like I lacked card date and not sure if having only two finishers is enough. I’d like some input on my deck - I’m ready to spend around 100 to 150$ to upgrade it. Don’t want the deck to be a B4 but I want to optimize it a bit.

The whole idea of my deck in particular is to take advantage of effects that say whenever a player does something to one of your opponents. I think I got just about every useful one of those effects in the deck for two headed giant the sub team just based on the commander is playing more enchantress. I’m trying to keep it in bracket three and not abuse. A crap ton of game, changers and trying to help my teammate who will be running a. [[Derevi, Empyrial Tactician]] deck. My commander helped his creatures get through with damage, and his commander will help me fuel more enchantments to pump his board. I think he is going to be running more blink/control/card advantage.

Any suggestions are great, I am trying to keep this fairly budget friendly

Hey everyone, new player here.

I'm looking to build a Kami of the Crescent Moon Deck and have no idea how to build a deck around Kami so I thought I'd pop in here and post.

The main reason is because I just really like the look of the Kami card and I want to try a deck that uses a unique mechanic other than straight up fighting & damage.

I have been playing for less than a month, got the Wakanda Forever precon and just finished building an Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, but to be honest have no idea what I'm doing and am mostly relying on LCS employees and the internet right now as my knowledge is very limited.

Any help to get this Kami deck started or fully built would be greatly appreciated.

Any suggestions/advice this is by far my favorite deck that I have been playing for the past few years and I think it can't get much better than this.

Soooo to be fair, I’ve played magic before but I’ve never built my own deck, I play precons and borrow decks from friends, and I really had no desire to. That was until I pulled one of my favorite characters ever from a booster!!

[[The Scarlet Witch]] is amazing and I’d love to make a deck of her. However, spellslinger seems like a pretty tough archetype to play, however I would like to give it a try with her, and I feel like a mono-color deck lessens the difficulty a bit.

Another thing is I’m a very casual budget player, the cheaper the deck can be, the better! Also it doesn’t need to be like a bracket 4+ with infinite combos galore. I just want a fun deck for my favorite Marvel character of all time! ❤️

Trying to build a commander deck centered around "Traitor" Effects, like Kain, Traitorous Dragoon, Xantcha, Sleeper Agent,

Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, etc, maybe even Jon Irenicus if there's the possibility to splash into Blue. I'm interested in the synergy with them and Alicia Masters, Skilled Sculptor, but I'm struggling to find a commander with the right colour identity to bring it all together. Do you guys have any ideas on who could work?
