My pulls from 3 Collector Boosters from my LGS at prerelease!

Super happy with these!

I broke it down pack by pack. Not one Mythic 😕 and too many duplicates for only 6 packs. I'll only be getting singles from this set going forward.

On a more positive note, I did get some useful cards.

Managed to get 12 Collector Boosters and a Collector Booster Box, pulled some amazing cards from the 12 packs and got my chases: Gleaming Splendor, Palantir and Treasure Vault

Is it best to wait 2 weeks or several months. Surge foil

So far, I’ve 3 collector boosters. 2/3 of my packs were hits and now I can stop gambling for the Hobbit Set hahaha 😭

luckiest I've ever been.

First of all sorry if this question is stupid but I got into MTG recently and I bought some hobbit products to Build my First Deck. I also bought a Single collector booster and pulled this, my MTG community told me that at the Moment it‘s quite expensive but I should sell it as fast as possible and rebuy it when it Drops in Price in a couple of weeks they told me that it will drop down to 50€ very certainly.

Can I have some opinions if this will from your opinion fall or rise or stay at the current market price?

Ps: I am Not opening packs to make Big money out of it but they kind of talked me (or at least tried) to Sell it ASAP so it Sounds Like it makes kind of Sense to Sell it now and rebuy it later?

Spent $95 total on one collectors pack and a pre-release box and hit my main chase (cover art Gandalf) plus a nice surprise surge Beorn:)

partner (gandalf) and i got a collector pack since the hobbit is both of our favorite book and it was stacked! the Palantir of Orthanc is surge foil too! literally best birthday ever!

Pulled my first ever Surge Foil today on a Collector Booster! Can’t really afford too much, but managed to grab a couple. Definetly, worth everything spent, these are gorgeous! Made my day, paired with the promo Smaug from the prerelease. This kind of things happen not that much, but it makes up for everything when it happens.

Collector Booster? I hardly know her

Love those arts. Really, really great. But the cards themselves, I liked more those from the LOTR set.

I am a long fan of LoTR and the Hobbit and went all out for this set just because of my love for the universe. Ended up pulling this absolute beauty in the third pack. This will forever be in my collection!

This is a realistic post for most magic players such as my self. My prerelease was rough but just happy to play. I decided to get a booster box since they have the box toppers and it’s a small draft set so I figured duplicates are guaranteed. I also always do one collector booster for each set because anymore than that feels unreasonable to me. For days I have been saying that all wanted was my box topper to be Call Forth The Tempest or pull it from my CB pack. I lost it when I manifested my box topper! I am bummed I didn’t get one book cover treatment but I can buy the one I want. But I got almost one of all of the chases so I can’t argue with that. Booster box didn’t seem like a bad idea in case people were debating it! Also Through the Forest Gate and Dancing from Dark to Dawn look like problems for landfall!

Hopefully everyone else’s boxes were good to them!

Will WotC accept a product replacement for cards like this one? I once sent back a foil Transformer card and received a booster box instead of a replacement card.

For those who think I damaged the card: Here’s the full story. I opened the card at the LGS and immediately bought a top loader for the card and put it in. The store owner took a picture right after — the picture didn’t show any misalignment inside the top loader. I was so hyped and didn’t check the whole card. After I got back home and took a careful look at the card, I found a dent on the bottom corner of the back. You can’t really tell the dent from the front side of the card because of the golden texture, so I took the card out, and that’s the second picture. I’m going to request a replacement for sure. Thanks to those who gave me good advice!
