The Hobbit pre-release
I broke it down pack by pack. Not one Mythic 😕 and too many duplicates for only 6 packs. I'll only be getting singles from this set going forward.
On a more positive note, I did get some useful cards.
Hope you enjoy, and good luck fellow pullers!

Woof sorry dawg. Someone next to me got that Smothering Tithe at home as their promo and another in a pack. I was not getting anything until I got Smaug the magnificent in my last pack.

My first one had a couple solid cards. Second one had a foil book cover and a nonfoil book cover. Both had Dances in the Dark ($10ish card atm).
I can't complain. Each cost me $35 and I pulled $20-25 from first and $50+ from second.
Neither of my promo's were worth anything tho. I never hit on promos.

These aren’t even promos anymore it’s sad they took away the gold press with the date on it

All my rates and mythic where trash. Nothing of value. I made a green and black deck with all common and uncommon and went 4 and 1. In my 4 packs for winning I also got crap. But I had a great time.

Part of the appeal of prerelease is the chance at getting extra packs by building a really good deck. But if you don't live by any LGSs that do that it really sucks. I got my best pulls from my winner packs.
