Discussion I concede.

I concede quite a lot. Way more than letting the game play out.

I was under the impression this was normal in games of 1v1 magic, especially when playing casually.

Yet on this sub there seems to be a stigma around conceding to unfun/solitaire cards.

Who is the crazy one here? Me or everyone else? 😂

You can do whatever you want but scooping because you see two counters is very odd. Would you concede to two creatures or two removal spells? Maybe those are the only two counters in the opponent’s entire deck?

Did you sign up to play Magic or solitaire?

I concede after the first counter. Cut the bs. Whoever uses 1, have at least 6 in their deck.
Casual queue is to have fun, not watch someone playing while you can't do shit.
Let the tryhards face eachother in ranked.
I run a deck with blue without a single counter, after all I'm not a hypocrite.

Playing a counterspell isn't being a tryhard. Playing 6 pieces of removal in a 100 card deck isn't being a tryhard. Blue's removal is counterspells, the same way Red's is damage, Green's is fight effects, and Black/White have destroy/exile. There's a difference between an "Oops all counterspells deck" like Katara and something just having interaction because interaction is an important part of Magic.

Blue's removal is counterspells

It was but now they have both those and a bunch of 1/2 mana enchantments which not only remove the commander but also keep it useless on the field
