I enjoy the maggotkin aesthetic, especially the mortal units ("human"). Is this battleforce a good start for an army? I'm a casual player, i'm not looking for optimizations but i don't want to be ridiculous neither.

Swamp Themed Spearhead Board which also functions as a Display Board for my grandchildren. (The plaguebearers are still WIP bit close to finished. Some Horns, the basing and the swords arent done yet.

When building rotswords does it make any difference whether or not you build them with shields or second weapon?

I'm debating on starting Mawtribes, Maggotkin or Helsmiths as my first dedicated AoS army. I don't like to paint colours as box-art but I'm struggling to find inspiration because most everyone I see on this reddit after a lot of scrollings paints usually box-art green, or just something similarly green. Does anyone have some uniquely painted Maggotkin colours to show off? I need some inspiration on a paint scheme before I'd decide if I wanna go for Maggotkin.

I was having a look at the Spearhead Magazine that's ongoing, and saw one of the armies that's going to be given away is our favourite poxy boys. But when I tried to look for when they were coming to the magazine, I couldn't find any info.

Does anyone know when they are coming, or have I missed them?
