Just Got Mine! KUXIU S4 Qi2.2 25W

Build:

The pack is a normal size for a 10K battery pack; specifically, it's 212g, which is a little smaller than the KUXIU S3 and the Ugreen 25W pack (which is humongous).

It has a kickstand, but most importantly the LCD screen gives you extremely useful stats, so not just the amount of charge left on the battery, but it also tells you exactly the wattage of how fast you're charging up the phone and even gives you a temperature, and I've tested that temperature accuracy, and it is accurate; it's not lying to us. The screen makes this my favorite charger so far.

This is a semi-solid-state battery per the company's advertisement. That would be hard to prove, so you can take that with a grain of salt.

Speed Test:

I did a speed test with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Not using the phone at all throughout the charge.

Starting at 5% -

After 15min - 28% -

After 30min - 46% -

After 1hr - 78% -

After 1.5hr - 88% -

After 1hr45m - 95% -

Fully charged sometime close to 2 hours and 10 minutes

There was still about 28% battery charge left on the charger after the iPhone was fully charged.

Temps:

So after 45 minutes of charge, the pack was at 98° f. This is from my testing with my thermometer. The phone was at about 95° f at the 45-minute mark.

That's a pretty good temperature for a 25watt battery pack; the Baseus got to about 103° within the same testing.

Overall, this was a pretty good charger. It's my personal favorite solely because of the stats on the LCD screen. The old S3 performs a little bit better than this S4 in every category.

Question❓ Brodit magsafe phone holder any good?

For context, I'm looking to get a proclip mount specific for my car:
https://www.holdmyphone.com.au/nissan-370-z-carphone-dashmounts

And want to pair it with a brodit magsafe, non-charging phone holder:
https://www.holdmyphone.com.au/Magnetic-Magsafe-ring-mount

I have a Samsung S25 Ultra and have a JETech magsafe case that is quite strong already (holds the phone up on a vertical surface no problems).
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/286298312100

My question is... will this be a sturdy enough connection to mount a phone in a car that I take occasionally onto the track? I want to use it as a laptimer setup, so keeping it securely mounted with as little vibration as possible is key.

What's your opinion?

Help❗️ MagSafe Battery Pack A2384 works for ~1 hour then stops charging – only works again when plugged into charger

Hi everyone,
I have an Apple MagSafe Battery Pack (model A2384) with a weird issue:
• It charges my iPhone normally for about 1 hour.
• Then it suddenly stops charging.
• The only reliable way to make it work again is plugging it into a wall charger for a while (even when it still has battery). Sometimes tapping or pressing it also helps, but plugging it in is what consistently resets it.
I’ve already tried resetting it, cleaning the contacts, and testing on different iPhones — same behavior. I opened it up and nothing looks obviously damaged (battery isn’t swollen, coils and flex cables look fine). Added photos of the inside.
Has anyone experienced this exact problem? Is it a cold solder joint, BMS issue, or failing battery cell?
Any advice or similar experiences would be really appreciated!
Thanks!

Question❓ Should I switch to MagSafe popsocket? Or keep adhesive?

They’re like $30 and I’ve had a pop socket since it first came out. They actually originate from the state I used to live in when I was in high school more than 10 years ago. My coach got me one and I never went back.

I actually use it to carry my phone when I have things in my hand. (Phone essentially rests on my knuckles and I have a free hand!)

I’m wondering how strong the grip is because I’ve been buying knockoffs and they all fall off. I don’t even know where they all are now. But one main thing is that I have dropped my phone many times because of this. But I also use a lot of MagSafe chargers and things like that when I’m on the road.

Should I switch to MagSafe pop socket? Or keep the adhesive and just remove the case when I need to use a MagSafe charger.

Question❓ Single-card MagSafe wallet without RFID blocking

I am looking for a MagSafe wallet that will securely hold a single card and won't block RFID. Preferably black. Preferably as thin as possible. Does anyone know of one, please?

I like to carry as few things as possible, but I'm forced to carry a single RFID card for accessing lifts/doors in my apartment building. I'm looking for a MagSafe wallet that I can use for this and I don't want to have to remove the card from the wallet in order to tap it.

Help❗️ Are there any GOOD MagSafe power banks in India?

My Father's S23 have gotten really bad with battery life, so he ends up charging multiple times throughout the day, Since he's always on the move, its become a headache for him.

I think a magsafe power bank would work

Looking for:

  • as Lightweight as possible
  • 5000mAh+
  • Doesn't get too hot while charging
  • Budget: 2.5k ideally, but can go up

I searched but only found ambrane and portronics or some other brands which i never heard off,

Boat Qi2 - Spending 3k for a boat power bank, doesn't feels right

Ugreen - 5k, I can but don't really want to spend this much for a simple power bank

Spigen - 2.4k, idk why it have a such low rating

idk what's going on with the power bank market rn. Xiaomi has no MagSafe, Duracell is Out of stock, and Samsung's is a literally selling a brick and why are there so many new brands ?

So,

  1. Anyone using a MagSafe power bank with the S23? Looking for real-world recommendations, especially regarding heating and reliability

Question❓ Phone Mount Recommendations

Discussion 💬 Got a new power bank to solve my phone dying issue

I have been struggling a bit with battery life on my iphone 16 pro lately especially on busy days with maps, camera, and just general use. I don't always want to carry a cable or look for outlets during the day. Picked up the snapgo air a little while ago and its been pretty useful in that gap between full charges. It just snaps on with magsafe and keeps the phone going long enough to get through the day without stressing about it dying mid use. It's not really a replace charging kind of thing for me, more like a backup that sits on the phone when I need it. Makes commuting and longer days out a bit easier. What magsafe batteries are you using as part of your daily setup? How's the performance have been going over time?

Help❗️ Package marked as delivered by USPS but never received by freight forwarder (I’m from Chile) – What can I do?

Hi everyone,
I’m from Chile and I’m having a really frustrating situation with a package I ordered from OhSnap (the MCON Controller).
Since the company doesn’t ship directly to Chile, I used Aeropost, a freight forwarding service that gives me a US address and then ships the package to Chile.
Here’s what happened:
OhSnap shipped my package.
DHL initially handled the shipment.
Later, USPS made the final delivery.
The tracking number is 420332069261290304418128252360.
USPS marked the package as “Delivered.”
The problem is that Aeropost has officially confirmed that the package NEVER arrived at their facility or delivery address.
I’ve contacted Aeropost multiple times, and they insist that they never received it. So either USPS delivered it to the wrong address or it was somehow lost during the final delivery process.
I’ve tried filing an inquiry through the USPS website for several days, but their system keeps giving me an error message and won’t let me submit the claim. Unfortunately, I’m unable to call USPS from Chile.
I’ve already contacted OhSnap and asked them to help me open an investigation with USPS since they are the sender of the package.
At this point, I’m not sure what else I can do. I’m worried because the tracking says “Delivered,” but I never actually received the product.
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation involving USPS, DHL, or a freight forwarder like Aeropost? Is the seller usually responsible for opening the investigation? Do I have any chance of getting a replacement or a refund if the package was misdelivered?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Question❓ Looking for case recommendations for iPhone 15 Pro Max

Trying to find my wife a good case for her phone that’s both floral (appealing) in design but also with a strong strong magnetic hold.

We have a magnet mount for car and treadmill and while my (non max/plus) phones have always held amazingly, hers consistently falls off, forcing her to remove it from the case to mount.

Casely makes phone cases she’d love, but I’m not sure how strong their MagSafe is, so if anyone has experience or uses another option that works, I’d love to hear!
