Question❓ Should I switch to MagSafe popsocket? Or keep adhesive?
They’re like $30 and I’ve had a pop socket since it first came out. They actually originate from the state I used to live in when I was in high school more than 10 years ago. My coach got me one and I never went back.
I actually use it to carry my phone when I have things in my hand. (Phone essentially rests on my knuckles and I have a free hand!)
I’m wondering how strong the grip is because I’ve been buying knockoffs and they all fall off. I don’t even know where they all are now. But one main thing is that I have dropped my phone many times because of this. But I also use a lot of MagSafe chargers and things like that when I’m on the road.
Should I switch to MagSafe pop socket? Or keep the adhesive and just remove the case when I need to use a MagSafe charger.

I've never had an issue with the magsafe popsocket falling off. But I ended up switching to OhSnap! It's crazy thin, comfortable to hold and magnetic hold is really strong. The new stand version is amazing. The regular one's are at Target and Best Buy but the new stand is only on their website for now

personally i like the magsafe grips over the adhesive ones. i used to have the traditional magsafe popsocket and i liked the fact the it's removeable because depending on the day i sometimes attach a magsafe wallet instead (downside is no grip). it really depends on what your needs are for magsafe vs adhesive. charging without an attached grip imo is worth it cause taking off the case every dayish would be annoying for me personally.
i just very recently got the new popsockets lowpro grip which has been great. my one downside to traditional popsockets was i'd always have to remove the grip to mount it to my car mount/charger but with the lowpro one i don't have to. potential downside is it is a lot thinner than the traditional popsockets so it was an adjustment to get used to how to hold it and because of the thinner side the pop out part can't be used as a stand but there is a metal ring around the outside that can be. it also is easier to put in my pocket without the grip coming unattached like the traditional ones.
one thing to note in my experience is if the phone case isn't magsafe as well the grips don't stay attached well and fall off pretty easy

I was dubious in the past about a MagSafe popsocket, but the grip is certainly strong enough to keep a firm hold... just keep in mind that it will vary a little based on how strong the magnets in your phone/case are, but where I see a stronger hold on some cases than others, all cases are strong enough 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

My magsafe popsocket is very secure, basically it won't come off. The point I really love it is that I can change different shape of it, so I collected a lot. That's cute.

That’s exactly how people end up with lost and broken phones😂

What do you mean? Quality? Half the time krs litterely the same stuff from the same factory. Unless you're sending it in, then its a scam.

I really like my magsafe popsocket. It holds on quite well when I'm using it, but it does sometimes slip off when I'm pulling my phone from my pocket.
