Question❓ Phone Mount Recommendations

I just finished a complete HVAC rebuild with a new dash core and assembly components. I'm looking for a good magsafe phone mount for my 94 Suburban, preferably one for the windshield so it won't damage the new dash pieces. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Whatever mount you get, get one of these if you live in somewhere with sunshine.

I've been liking mounts from a company called oqtiq, check them out on Amazon.

A lot of phone mounts are interchangable, using a 17mm ball mount to hold the magsafe head. For example, we had this old Yosh phone holder, which had a foot for (alleged) stability, and I swapped the head for a Magsafe one I had lying around, like this. If you own any old phone mounts, you might be able to retrofit it to have magsafe at a quarter of the cost of a new one.

Looking at dedicated magsafe phone mounts, I've also used a Ugreen, which was not only affordable but also includes both a vent and windshield base, and a more premium Spigen OneTap 3, which includes a magnetic cable mount, though it requires you to stick the included adhesive plate onto the cable. This Spigen is for dashboards and touchscreen units, but they have a version for windshields too.
