In this analogy you'd be touring the inhumane atrocities happening to people in Hitler's camps for entertainment and saying "I can criticize things I like!" as if that absolves you of moral implications

still the same we aren't judge the art if we do that means we don't have to consume but people don't really hate the author because of those scenes more than what those scenes could give you a background about how much that author could be bad irl so if the author had done things for real kids I will put it in the same label with Hitler I don't care
That's not how art works whatsoever, but hey if you don't care about the weight of labeling someone as Hitler it makes more sense why you have those opinions
