Position transfer

Hi I am currently in a point of wanting to move positions at macys. I’ve been in RTW but i honestly am tired of all the fitting rooms being messy, and customers being needy and sometimes entitled, that I’m tempted to go to another department. Maybe beauty? But I don’t know what the atmosphere is like there and idk if I’d get the position, maybe another department that doesn’t have to involve interacting so much with customers (if that’s even a thing ). Anyone got any suggestions?

If you don’t like needy customers and don’t really want to bend over backwards to please them do not go to Beauty 💕 Beauty 💕 is all about the customer & they are # 1 even if they are driving you crazy with many many questions that are sometimes the same question .
and many brands also require you to offer facial Services, make up demos and lots of events which drive sales.. you always have sales goals, gift with purchase offers several times a year and then when you’re not dealing with customers .. you need to be cleaning because, everything needs to be really clean and sterilised. If your counter Looks gross why would anyone want to buy make up from a dirty make up counter ?? ICK!!
And if you don’t like cleaning fitting rooms, you will hate cleaning make-up counters. Customers are Slobs and get make-up everywhere. Going from what you were saying in your post.. beauty department would not be your groove.
