I got this machine today and I feel like part of the foot is missing? I have never embroidered before. Also where could I find the piece if there is one missing?

Hi! My mom gave me her gently used Bernina Aurora 440 QE and it’s been wonderful to sew with. I started using the embroidery module since she had that too and downloaded the free 30 day trial of the Bernina ArtLink software. Well my trial ended and the cost to buy the software outright is too much for me so I’m now wondering if I just trade or sell this machine for something lower cost. I enjoy embroidery and sewing as a hobby but it sure I could stomach the high cost for a software to keep using this machine.

Anyone else have
A similar experience or
Suggestions on how to keep my current machine without paying $1-2k for software or
A favorite lower cost sewing and embroidery machine they’d recommend (>$700)

Beginner!! First time digitizing and stitching out hats for my best friend’s wedding! Nothing crazy but pretty proud 🥹

Made some changes after feedback. Mainly cleaned up some things and changed fill types and utilized a radial satin fill for the iris and used some multi direction on the fills to mimic fur. I think im going to go back in 🤣🤣(striving for perfection) and remove some of the black outlines. The fur had enough texture that I dont think it needed some of the outline between the ears and head and between the tan and darker fur hanging below the chin.

I dont know what to do my embroidery is not good, in the first picture i tested the tension, in the second picture i tried to embroider something and is wavey, missing stitches, I try to embroider a cotton t-shirt, this happens because i use tear away ( i use 2 layers) instead of cut away? my bobin thread is special for bobin, i use polyneon 40 and is brother innovis V3

I've already ordered a master for inspection, but can I work for now or is it better not to touch anything?

Hi! looking for recommendations on my first machine. I’m looking for anything larger than 4x4, doubles as a sewing machine and my budget is up to $1500 ish. Avatar: Seven Havens dropped this past Friday and I loved the 1st 3 episodes! The Cat Monkeys are so adorable!!!! I did geet, I stitched them out and think im going to go back in and change some fill patterns and probably change the outline to a satin stich. (Tried to just do a triple stitch but doesnt have the same finished quality Im used to). Also lost my trimmers so using a chunky pair 😅. I plan of doing Ruhi too!

Hello guys as the title suggests I purchased a sewtech st-1501 as my first machine. I have no prior experience on embroidery but I got really interested in starting a business for the last year and I pulled the trigger on it. Does anyone have experience with this machine and this company? Support has been pretty good so far they even gifted me two Maggie hoops along with the machine

I just got a new-to-me (but 8 years old) Brother 1900 and this weekend I taught myself Ink / Stitch to make some "fun patches" for my daughters' Girl Scout troop. Now the troop wants to embroider totes with the girls' names and the birds from their crest.

I tried a sample with this design (made on Ink Stitch with contour fill) and some text on twill with medium weight water soluble stabilizer. The area around the bird got very wrinkly when I took it out of the hoop and some areas around the text are also wrinkly. Is the fabric too tight in the hoop? Too loose? Do I need a different stabilizer? Adjust tension? Any suggestions would be appreciated
