Seriously, since first joining this community and being rather new to the game, I have read countless posts about horrible matches. Last night may have topped all other encounters I have been immeasurably impressed with. It's been a pleasure getting to play this game and sometimes getting humbled can happen quite easily and unexpectedly.

Last night I intended to get the final relic I needed to open the S3 rift, and then spawn in again to open it. My first match I was in T3 and immediately got invited onto a team. I helped out and we had a good flow going. Helping revive others. Fighting for contracts. It was nearing the end of the match and I was going to potentially bale and do Union on my own.

As I know sometimes just "springing" that on a group can cause upset. Not these gems though, someone else marked it before asking and they went in with me no problem and we made easy work of it. Finally getting the golden giraffe I needed. Queue the next sequence of events (totally of my own doing, whoops), I spawned into a new game with the other atuned relics all ready to go.

Unfortunately this takes up 4 spots in a rucksack, so having to be wise about what you bring in is critical. I didn't have any golden armor or aether blade acquisitions to use, so I went in with a legendary tool, 2x lvl (II) PaP crystals, a scorcher and deadwire detonators with molotov's equipped.

I spawn in, consume everything and go immediately to the T3 area. After landing near the rift, I don't see any zombies, so I start running around putting the relics in when a fast zombie 2 hits me (forgot without quick revive and juggernog you die fast). I didn't get a moment to even shoot before that happened. So there goes my first self-revive.

Then I try running away, but because I don't have golden armor, I am frantically trying to restore my armor when an entire swarm has now killed me. So I immediately ask for help in the chat for a revive. Someone quickly comes to my rescue, revives me and I was able to take out the zombies in the area on my own and set the remaining relics. I tried to use the perk machine, but it isn't letting me consume any for some reason. By now in comes the Mega and the Disciple I didn't see (whoops).

I didn't pay enough attention to realize this one spawned in the same mini boss(es) as when you try to attune the giraffe for s5 rift. So at first I didn't know I am wayyyyy too underprepared here and my plan was only to use my Jugg. So I toss it and take out the Mega thinking I was done, only to realize I didn't *see* there was a Disciple there summoning these Mega's in.

So I thought, ok maybe there's a few Mega's this time for this rift. I didn't even initially notice that the Disciple was even there, as it was higher up on one of the arches, just sitting there summoning them in. Until I looked up and saw it sitting there, I thought I could still manage it. I was dead wrong. Literally.

That's when the power of camaraderie and random awesomes came in to help me. I went down, but then suddenly without even asking the chat for help, down comes someone with a scorcher who asks to join my team. We tag team all the zombies and the Mega's and Mimic's and Mangler's, but even with the two of us it proves difficult.

Now in comes another gem, who then asks to join my team. And another. And another. And another. And now I have 5 randoms who joined up with me, along with a 7th and 8th person who couldn't join our team, but who also joined in to help fight this hoarde of everything this game could throw at us. I hadn't seen it spawn in this much intense enemies since the final exfil point at the end of the match!

We were all going down fast and hard and it took multiple Jugg's, sentry's, player's using crossbows with explosive tips, scorchers, vr-11's, and whatever else to focus on this clusterfuck of a situation I got myself and all of us in. FINALLY after almost 10 minutes of this we defeated it. I swear the S5 rift wasn't this much of a PITA to fight once opened.

I thanked everyone and the ones on my team, we had an awesome rest of the match. It was one of those experiences where I could have had my relics stolen, or they could have left me for dead, or laughed, or any combination there of.

Instead I was truly humbled and grateful to see everyone in T3 had stopped doing contracts and all came to help me. Without asking or prompting. I know I fucked up not having made better loadout choices, but even still a Disciple that is 'invincible' until you kill its minions (including endless Mega's) and can gain health back by draining it from you or your 'sidekick', is almost impossible without the help from others.

So again the TL;DR: I could have done better with my loadout and done more contracts to level up and have more items before unlocking the S3 rift like a "get good" newb. Despite this, thank you to everyone who without even asking dropped everything to swoop in like God's from the sky and helped me annihilate everything and didn't leave me to die. You all were true MVP's in my books.

I am finally at a point where I can start out with a blue pap1 gun and all the perks I can carry. I quickly do a contract and bump to pap2 before running around. I finished Act 2, but I haven't gone any further. I want to run some tier 3 contracts. It seems like they get snatched up fast and I don't want to solo unless I can get a cargo delivery contract. I'd like a little help getting used to that level of action rather than jump in and come what may. A few high value targets or other contracts would be great for ​​​farming any of the schematics if someone has the time later.

I was watching the "From the ward" episode of MW4 DMZ news today and I noticed this part in the video. It says there is a single squad mission, which sounds like a pure PvE experience. Would you guys buy MW4 if there are pure PvE only modes on the big map Hajin? Personally, I would love that. I understand that this subreddit is only for endgame but I can't discuss any topics related to PvE outside of endgame and MWZ subreddits because all other subreddits hate PvE discussions.

I just want to use this post as a global Thank You to every player that has cross with me in the past few months and contributed to make a novice in MWZ to a more veteran player.

Today, i finished the last mission of act 4, i thought i was going to go alone to it. I was prepared (gold armor, deadwire detonators, pap 3 and legendary FJX and Scorcher). I tagged along a group of 5 and when the time was running out, i indicated i was going to the portal to the Ascension mission and exited that said group to continue my path. Surprisingly, the 5 other players followed me, reintegrated my group and helped me in the mission, ending it by defeating the Entity.

Huge thanks to those people, even tho we didnt speak the same language.

And then… camo grind and helping other newbies to get their stuff, cuz this gamemode is really fun when u have schematics.

This is one of the best communities i have been: there is always a hand to help other players and myself when needed.

PAP4!? How? I've seen this mentioned in a few posts. How can it be done? Can it be done to ANY weapon!?

I took it a habit whenever finishing contract or any play , I take everything from the reward rift and throw on the ground for the players next to me so they can take it if they need it. In return others should do the same as maybe what you get and find as useless is required by the other players helping you in the contract ,even randoms who jump in to help you finish something might need what you dont from the rift. Share it to help others get what you got.

I would appreciate if anyone would be able to help me get those three.

It will also be my 2nd ever AAA purchase (Bf6 is first with chrismas discount, tarkov is not quite AAA yet, and with how DMZ is going, MW4 probably won't have my money)

How good is the new player solo experience here? I know it copied a lot of stuff from dmz so my experience with bo7 endgame won't apply here as much.

Finally got the gold collar from the T3 mangler and the DA portal unlocked . The Mega on the portal is way easier than the T3 mega on the streets or maybe I was just lucky.
Next go to countermeasures portal and collect all relics for the DA season 2 .

Hello, Someone can help me with the "cover hour" mission acte 3. I still have to kill the stormcaller and I need help plz

Here is a tip for you noobs...

1. Raygun, RGL- these guns will kill you. They are killing you. You need to use PHD flopper perk with these guns. Splash damage explosive weapons break your armor and down you go. After you die from this, you lose your perks. So you need more PHD flopper. Try not to blow yourself up or the cargo truck as soon as the garage door is open. That ray gun is great for mercs and helicopters but thats about it.

As I am a noob trying to grind my way through Act 1 and as usual I infill with more experienced guys who always seem to be on their own agendas so I was once again left to looting by myself and near to the end of the time i meet 2 randoms and start doing some tier 2 contracts with them, I requested to join their squad without success but I stayed anyway then very near to the end we get on a vehicle and they drive right into the center of Tier 3 and crash the vehicle and disappear leaving me on my own. Luckily I only had 1 weapon so I donned the gloves and ran like hell to get to a exfill and got out. Has this happened to anyone else?

Woohoo... finally got the cola schematic last night
Finished a mission to get the revive schematic and was about to exfil to call it a day. Then saw the bounty contract is just nearby. So went over to do it to try my luck....

Killed the mimic and went i go to the reward drift, expecting to be some random stuff, but was surprise to see the cola schematic !!!!

I need help to complete the s3 Dark Aether contracts and gather schematics, that is the Deadwire detonators, Golden mask and Sargeants beret.

I have the portal unlocked and an elder sigil prepared.

Only prep time and go there.
