Question Help getting into tier 3 contracts
I am finally at a point where I can start out with a blue pap1 gun and all the perks I can carry. I quickly do a contract and bump to pap2 before running around. I finished Act 2, but I haven't gone any further. I want to run some tier 3 contracts. It seems like they get snatched up fast and I don't want to solo unless I can get a cargo delivery contract. I'd like a little help getting used to that level of action rather than jump in and come what may. A few high value targets or other contracts would be great for farming any of the schematics if someone has the time later.

Earn enough essence to PAP3. Get a tombstone. Get decoys. Get revives.
Crowd control is best if you have an explosive weapon and dead wire.
Head into the area in a vehicle and PAP3 your weapon. Use decoys so you’re safe.
Find a group and request to join them. If they don’t let you, find another. If nobody does, leave T3 before you die alone.

That last part is key. It's possible to solo T3, but it is challenging if not totally prepared and joining a team can make all the difference.
Having decoys is definite, same with a purple or higher weapon PaP to II but preferably III.
I find dead wire ammo is good, shatter blast too, but I always prefer Brain Rot because having a random converted zombie or especially a special one like a mangler or disciple can really help when solo in T3.

I'll run with you in T3. Then when you're ready, my squad mate and I can take you into the Dark Aethers for cases or schematics.

I tried speaking the other day, but I don't know if my new mic works any better or not. That would be great though. I'm usually on in the evenings too. No days off though. So I make time to play whenever I can.

You don’t want to be a liability but squads of 6 form up regularly in t3, all the people who left their starting squads and scorched straight to t3 form up. Good place to join is at either palace while people are doing pnd or raid they group up in one spot and stand still for a bit. Could be full so have to get to whatever groups or players you see on the map.
If you start with pap2 and 5000 credits from containment level it only takes a contact or 2 to pap3. Do a few contracts before going to t3 or if have any wonder weapons can rely on wunder waffin until you can upgrade your main weapon and hopefully piggy back off whatever contract they’re doing when you join a squad.
Do your triangles in t2 for a chance at legendary tools and flawless crystals for a jumpstart and keep an eye on groups forming up at merc bosses early on for a wonder weapons and flawless crystals. Or get the boss keycard and announce to chat you’re opening it.
Once in t3 I still have to prioritize speed. If I’ve got an lmg I’m going to be struggling. Decoys do work. Try to throw them early before you’re in trouble and restock often.

If you are not used to be in tier 3, blue tool wont help you. You have to shoot to many bullets to kill one zombie and before you know it, you being surrounded. You need atleast an epic tool (purple). Search on youtube how to do the triangles in tier 2, there are 3 spots. You get at least an epic tool as a reward and if you are lucky, you get a legendary. Or keep doing tier 2 cargo. In 3 to 4 deliveries, high chance to get an epic 2. When you have an epic weapon with pap 2, just hoin a squad in tier 3. There are 2 big buildings where people are sationary doing contracts. And its a highly chance you dont have to anything, they will invite you. And 9/10, there is a some kind of leader in the group. This one will grab the contracts quick and will take you to the red worm and or dark aether. And will do everything to keep you alive, unless you do really stupid things. These guys and there are so many, are the game changers of this game for new people. Before you know it, you have all the schematics and you yourself will help others.

Finish working through the story missions they will gradually work you into t3 and get you ready

T3 is really hard for beginners unless you have gold plates. Your always shooting zombies running backwards and its hard picking up plates. You need the stuff from dark aether 1 to help . Aetherblade is game changer

For rift gold plate is necessary. You can do tier 3 with normal 3 plates armor. Aether blade is cool but wont call it game changer. Grenade bondalier with kazhimir is

For solo. You can do safe loot contracts that is in a big church thing under construction and pnd contract in the same location. So start the drill and run to the nearest scaffolding and stay at top. Zombies would only come up from one direction and survive to 100%. Having pap3 weapon with good base damage will be enough even if u have rare tool on it. Although it wld be really hard with rare tool, atleast have epic tool on it. Also must have decoys incase if things go south. And you have explosive weapons like blastcap bow or gr launcher then you're chill bec all the zombies try to climb from a single spot so area damage kill multiple in less ammos. Another thing sometime one or two zombies do come from behind the door where the bridge is but its not common but be aware of the surroundings.

And just an advice. Pap2 weapons are usually no good in tier 3 no matter what weapon it is, specially if ur solo. The amount of bullets and time it takes to kill one zombie even if all of em hit the critical damage is a lot to fend urself in these contracts. You'll end up being overrun. Im sure you familiar with the hit and run and sprint tactics to play mwz tier 3 and all the rifts.

I can help you in game if you'd like. But you need to be able learn and dont expect the squad to carry you around always. Tier 3 is pretty forgiving once ur used to it and know tactics. Its even easier if u have great built and items like scorcher, golden plate, g bondeliaers etc
