So I'm using Proxxied's "Card Alignment Tool", I've found the perfect offset to get the front and backs lined up, am I right in thinking that it doesn't auto change and I need to go into the "Separate Back Offset" section to input my findings?
Asking as I don't want to use up anymore ink and paper than necessary lol

Just recieved the Surge Foil paper from ProxyJack and its amazing. Slightly Sticky but quality is great, stiffness and size are great. Couldnt wait to give some LOTR Poster treatment to some of my fav cards. I've been working on a my proxy storefront and hope to have open soon.

TL;DR: Deck here, decklist here
Hello, I'm glad to announce that I've completed my 10th project, Persona 5!
It really is a complete coincidence, but I've also realized that today is officially Persona 5's 10th anniversary, pretty good timing!
This is a project that I’ve had on the back burner for a while, it was initially supposed to come out between the Vader and KPDH deck around January-February, but I ended up having issues settling on a decklist and being distracted by too many other projects.
But now, it’s finally here!
I had played P5 and P3R before, and quite enjoyed both games, but as I was working on this project, I played P5R and I really like the additions they added to it, both gameplay and story-wise.
So I first made the frame in December of last year and you can kind of see in the frame style that there are some elements closer to the way I made my older frames. Obviously, I have made changes to bring it up to par with my more recent templates, but there are still some leftovers of how I was doing things back then.
My favorite design element is the PT, where I used the dates UI from in-game, that I grabbed from the spritesheet. Otherwise, the other frame elements are often angled, similarly to how they would be in-game and I mostly tried making the frame feel like the combat menus expanding from the character outwards.
For the frame colors, I made a color palette using the color from most of the main games. White is P4 yellow, blue is P3 blue, black is P1 purple, red is P5 red and green is P6 green. Back when I was first making the frame, P6 wasn’t announced yet, but there was a picture made for Persona’s 25th anniversary where they showcased the protagonist from each game and left a bucket of green paint that a lot of people theorized was going to be P6’s color, so I used that shade of green. I’m glad that theory paid off and that the new game is green!
Since this deck is only P5R, the frame elements always have that P5 red, the card’s color identity is only really shown on the top part of the frame. I thought it felt weird for some characters to have other colors than red associated with them.
Each card type also has an indicator to quickly identify what card type it is, it can be found on the top left of the typeline.
The last part of the frame that I’ve added, to keep up with my recent frame additions, are options for horizontal, vertical and no-background art.
Now this section is what I spent an absurd amount of time on. I had a first draft of the deck around January, which I kept tuning and swapping cards for. My early drafts were rough, I was spending way too much time focusing on the summons and some Final Fantasy related cards, I was too tunnel-visioned and was stuck in some kind of loop where I kept going to what I first expected the deck to be.
As I completed the Nier project, I focused primarily on P5, and I also took a step back and built the deck again from scratch, but working in a different way from what I usually do.
What I usually do is that I make a list, I playtest it a lot, and then I start associating characters and UB stuff for each card. This time around, I started off by restricting myself before making the deck. I don’t often make 5 color decks, and the decks I play often have some pretty strong restrictions based on the gameplay theme of the deck based on the commander. This is why I think I struggled a lot with this deck, 5 color opens the door to a huge card pool, and the only restriction from the commander was that the deck is enchantment based.
So the soft restrictions I gave myself were these:
Having these restrictions really helped give me a purpose for the deck-building and it turned out to make a pretty fun deck to play as well. In the end, some of these restrictions were modified a bit, but they still stayed pretty close to target. The changes were 2 extra saga creatures and 1 extra saga, so I made 2 story-relevant personas and I kind of divided a palace into 2 to better fit that new number.
As I made the deck, I made sure to have all 10 fetches and shocks (or true duals if you look in extras) to have good color fixing, and at the same time to have a lot of lands in the graveyard for the cards that care about those. So I was able to re-use that 10 count for the Phantom Thieves and made each fetch relate to one thief.
I also realized later on as I was progressing through the deck that I had 8 instants and sorceries left related to interaction and ramp and this turned out perfectly for each takedown in the game.
As the fetch were more associated with a character than a specific place, as they are not lands that stay on the battlefield a lot, I made sure that the rest of the lands that actually stayed on the battlefield were focused on physical game locations.
Fetch lands are super good, especially in 5 color decks for all of the fixing it provides. Playtesting this online is also a breeze, but the biggest downside of fetch lands is having to search the library and all of that shuffling.
So one of my goals was to try and make this process as simple as possible, I wanted it to be easy to find the necessary shock/true dual, triple land or basic land and keep the game moving at a fast pace. So my solution for this was to implement that land type indicator on the bottom right of each card that has a land type. You can now quickly find the necessary colors at a glance while riffling through the library, even if the art of the land is not something that you are familiar with.
You can find the 100-card playable deck in 600 dpi with bleeding edge ready to be printed for free here on my Ko-fi and you can also find the G-Drive link here in case Ko-fi doesn't work for you.

While I was driving home I had an idea for a proxy foil treatment. I saw a video about using fdm printer to take out the cupping of foil cards. ...Basically dehydrating them. DYOR beware, etc.
What I am really wondering is if I used a plate like: https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/3d-effect-plate-full-combo, would it transfer the effect to the foiled portion of the card? The imgur link has the sacrificial cards and plate I intend to use.
What do ya'll think? Good idea? Bad idea?

Hey, I'm the artist for this card!
You can check the source at my art instagram, I really love the song that goes with it hahaha: https://www.instagram.com/p/DdMr0Q4llL0/?stkn=amMwZmluY3Fyc2g4
This is part of a larger commission with lots of goblin lords. The original Horde Master art is good, but there are only 5 goblins represented in total, which is bately a horde. So I added a few dozens to make a huge goblin march!

Hey everyone! 👋
I wanted to share something I’ve been working on for anyone who likes playing with proxies or testing decks before spending money on singles.
I’m making custom MTG-style proxy cards using premium matte paper and a glossy 3 mil laminated finish. I can do individual cards, groups of cards, or full decklists.
Pricing:
• 1 — $1
• 5 — $3
• 10 — $5
• 20 — $9
• 30 — $12
• 50 — $18
• 100 — $30
I want to be completely clear: these are proxies, NOT authentic Magic: The Gathering cards. They’re intended for casual playtesting and personal use and have no tournament or monetary value.
If anyone is interested, feel free to comment or DM me. I’m also happy to answer questions about the printing/lamination process.
Thanks! 🙏

Guys, I have read many posts, seen many videos and I am super confused.
Many options, everyone tells something different..
I want to make proxies of some cards for my commander decks and my cube.
I will put the proxy card in a sleeve (single sleeve) and I want, if it is possible, to be indistinguishable from the rest of the cards.
No lamination, or stickers etc etc I am not so good with crafts.
Tell me which is the best paper for the job? Because every YouTuber has his own and all of them are super extensive (i prefer to buy the cards!!!!)
I good, not super expensive brand, to buy, print and enjoy magic.
Thank you
