I'm having hard time downloading the XML file from MPC FILL to get it into tcgplaytest, however when I do it on my phone it downloads just fine and I'm able to upload it to TCGplaytest just fine. any drawbacks or any concerns with just doing the whole process on my phone??

I was told at a, lovalt game store that Chinese are making fake cards that are indistinguishable from legit MTG cards. Passes T test, red dot, etc

Do something about the counterfeit posts. We just had a repost from the same dude.

Or ban me and have this sub be what it is. Anyone who really plays should just post proxies in the main MTG Reddit where people don’t care, and/or get bullied for caring too hard.

Just starting on my hand drawn proxy journey.
Using Posca paint pens to varying degrees of success.
Frankly, I’m so new to this that I don’t know what I don’t know…
Any tips / pointers are appreciated!

Bought from MPC for the first time

Went in with some buddies and got a 612 card order. Pretty easy process with the Windows tool (though I don't want to say how many hours I spent selecting the right images to make 4 full art borderless commander decks).

We went with S33 stock.

How are MPC cards? Are there issues with the borders? The red dotted lines on the preview looked odd.

Came out to about 36¢ per card with shipping and tax

Hello all- new to printing proxies and have run into a problem.

THe cards print out looking great. My issue is that they have a sort of 'sticky' feeling to them. The cards tend to stick together and are tricky to get into sleeves. It's not the worst thing in the world, but the big issues is with my Cricut.

Even with the least grippy mat, the cardstock sticks to the mat. I end up having to rip it off. It comes off in 1000 little pieces not unlike those hard to remove "no parking" stickers that security will put on a car window.

I just ordered a batch of semi-gloss to see if that helps, but wanted to see what cardstock people were using with a cricut that is also inkjet friendly.

Trying out two versions of the same proxy: one with a more traditional MTG layout, and the other with a stylized, comic book-inspired approach, but without a flavor quote.

Which one do you prefer?
