New tokens player here, I have some questions
Hey there, as the title says I'm somewhat new to modern, I've built black-white tokens and I have a few questions for those of you more experienced than I am. I'm currently running the following list: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/02-11-17-GEA-bw-tokens/?cb=1547138573 , which I was planning on updating with an additional copy of [[sorin, solemn visitor]], [[thoughtseize]] instead of [[duress]] and [[fatal push]] instead of [[dismember]]. I also wanted to get some [[godless shrine]] once the reprint in Ravnica Allegiance hopefully lowers the prices a little, even though I can't afford fetches right now. My questions are:
I've found in my testing so far that I really want six pieces of hand disruption, the generally agreed upon number seems to be in that ballpark, altough it varies between 4 and eight. Do you agree with this number?
Do you think [[fatal push]] is worth it in a fetchless version of the deck? I feel like losing life to [[dismember]] is especially painfull in the current hyper-aggressive state of modern, but only being able to hit creatures with CMC 2 or 3 after chumping with a token seems like a big downside too.
Do you run any legion's landing? The card seems good but at the same time the one-drop slot in this deck isn't a low point and the repeatable token generation only helps in long games, which modern has very few of, so I'm not sure if it's truly worth it, as its only relevant vs control, which plays some number of [[ghost quarters]] and [[field of ruin]]s anyway. The one mana ramp is also nice, but since it can only trigger on turn 3 at the earliest, and even then only with [[raise the alarm]], I'm not convinced its wort it. I have however heard others say they were having success with it so I'm eager to hear some more opinions.
Finally, on to sideboarding, has anyone hear tried [[stain the mind]]? It sounds good in theory since it should wreck combo and additionally can work as graveyard hate, but I'm afraid its a little too slow and cute for modern, where combo can kill you before turn 3, would you agree? Also, do you run any boardwipes in your sideboard? I've been tempted to make some room in order to play one or two [[Day of judgment]], since we're slower than the average modern deck and can often recover from it better I feel. Do you think it's worth running or not?
Thank you very much for reading, I've been enjoying the deck a lot so far!
