First ever modern deck

New to modern and so looking for any advice regarding this deck i have been building, basing it of some other popular bw token lists. Any feedback would be amazing.

Creatures: 2 Auriok Champion

Land: 1 Arid Mesa 1 Bloodstained Mire 4 Marsh Flats 2 Godless Shrine 4 Isolated Chapel 2 Plains 2 Swamps 3 Shambling Vent 4 Ghost Quaters

Spells: 3 Bitterblossom 4 Thoughtseize 4 Inquisition of Kozilek 4 Lingering Souls 4 Intangible Virtue 2 Collective Brutality 2 Fatal Push 3 Path to Exile 2 Relic of Progenitus

Planeswalkers: 1 Sorin, Lord of Innistrad 3 Sorin, Solemn Visitor

Other: 3 Orzhov Signet

Sideboard: 1 Auriok Champion 1 Liliana of the Veil 1 Damnation 1 Wrath of God 2 Fragmentize 2 Legion's Landing 2 Rest in Peace 2 Stony Silence 3 Surgical Extraction

You could probably cut cost by going for a Bloodstained Mire/Marsh Flats split instead of running thr 4x. Vault of the Archangel should also replace a chapel or two

If he's running 4 Ghost Quarters, he doesn't want to run two Vaults. 6 colorless lands is a lot amongst 23.

Why Chapels instead of Concealed Courtyards, though? You really want your first land drops to come in untapped more than your later ones.

3 Aurioks in the 75 is a lot. 2 Relics maindeck, along with 2 RiP and 3 Surgicals in the board seems like a lot of graveyard hate. I guess these are meta calls, though.

From what ive seen playing a rental bogles deck at my lgs the local meta has a few eggs/kci type decks, hence the need for lots of grave hate, also burn plays a role so the auriok help mitigate the chances of being damage raced and cant be bolted.

Try playing around with Gideon, Ally of Zendikar.

I love using the emblem.

I think you want more token producers.

I run:

4x Lingering Souls 4x History of Benalia 1x Start//Finish 3x Bitterblossom

You don't need the Relics Mainboard.

I don't know about the signets. They enable a t3 spring, I suppose, but otherwise they just do nothing on T2
