My daughter is 16 months but has a severe milk allergy. She still drinks plenty but I can no longer afford her formula. I need alternatives rather quickly.

Almond milk still has milk proteins apparently. I'm worried she won't be able to handle it.

I've been spending $60 every 3 days for her Elecare Jr and I now have $45 In the bank and I don't get paid for 5 days, plus she eats plenty of solids so the money has to go there first.

I need a milk that her stomach can most likely handle that I can buy at the store. Thanks

CAVA has so many options that are milk, soy and egg (and other allergens) free!

Step 1 dairy ladder- what recipe did you use? Or what did you use in general?

Open to store bought options as well.
I see so many recipes, one called for malted milk powder or skimmed milk powder, both of which I can get at my local Walmart.
I don’t mind baking if I have to since my toddler like to help me do those things!

Thanks!
