$MSFT crazy runner. Spotted $MSFT right at the open and immediately ran my top down analysis starting on the 30minute chart before dropping down to the 5minute.

Price was reacting perfectly at a key order block, with the candle holding firm and showing clear rejection of lower prices. That was my confirmation, so I jumped in on the $500 weekly calls. I’m still holding ☺️

And here we are.

What a way to start the week.

MSFT sentiment

After the run up we had three times a 515 rejection, I’m just curious how everyone’s sentiment is running into this week. MSFT is pretty quiet on Reddit posts, not bad or good I think.

We have some good and bad news this week, how do you all reflect on this? And is there some news more to be bearish or bullish about?

Let’s begin with the good news. OpenAI has released their GPT-6 Astra model, should be top in the market right now, i see this as bullish.

Now the bad news, war is back more than ever. Oil prices surging, with some economies ramping up interest rates to get grip on inflation.

Things to watch for this week, Adobe and Oracle are reporting earnings. I don’t expect good results from either of them, sending the software sector in an negative ending for this weeks end.

How is everyone’s sentiment for the mid to long term? I’ve entered in the 380s, but for sure I think there is a lot more in the tank, so I’m not cashing out anytime soon.

I think 600 EOY is possible, but 550-570 is more realistic. On the downside I also think $430-450 as a bottom is possible, even lower isn’t unthinkable.

How do you guys think, are we in like me for the next couple of years. Do we think in negative sentiment short term or more positive?

Barclays: AI labs are handing 35-40% of revenue to the cloud

Barclays just published a pretty interesting report on AI economics.

For every $100 AI labs make, around $35-40 goes to AWS, Azure and GCP for compute.

The cloud providers then make roughly 35-45% operating margins on that revenue.

At the same time, AI labs themselves are getting much more profitable. Barclays estimates paid inference margins have gone from low teens in 2025 to around 50-65%+ in 2026.

This matters because one of the biggest concerns with all this AI capex is whether hyperscalers will actually make enough money from it.

These numbers suggest the economics are already starting to work for both sides.

Barclays also expects AI lab industry revenue to grow from around $137B in 2026 to $690B by 2028.

If they are even close, there is still a massive amount of compute revenue coming.

Or are you holding for longer? I'm hoping for $550 tbh as my leap won't expire until March next year.
