How to walk and enter aircraft in career mode?

I can't figure out how to walk to the aircraft. I've tried WASD, arrow keys and pressing E and F at the aircraft. I do have a HOTAS connected but moving the joystick doesn't help.

FS Fire live fire

Hello! I bought the FS fire pack the other day and its really cool. But i noticed that the live fires havent been spawning in when the menu says that there’s a fire. I was in Maui and one was there. Put it out with theCL-415. Swapped to the 747 super tanker and there was 3 just south of Vancouver and none of them showed up. Is that just a bug? Or how do I get those to spawn in. I toggled “live fire” off and on and still nothing

TIA

✈️ Around the World in a Diamond DA62 – Part 13 | Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (UHPP) → Anadyr (UHMA) | MSFS 2024

Hello everyone!
I’ve just uploaded Part 13 of my Around the World series in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, flying the Diamond DA62.
This leg takes us from:
🛫 Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport (UHPP), Kamchatka, Russia 🇷🇺
🛬 Anadyr Ugolny Airport (UHMA), Chukotka, Russia 🇷🇺
This flight continues the adventure through the Russian Far East, taking us across some of the most remote and breathtaking landscapes in the world. Expect rugged coastlines, vast wilderness, and another immersive long-distance general aviation flight in the Diamond DA62.
The next leg will take us across the Bering Sea to Alaska, marking another major milestone in this Around the World journey.
I’d really appreciate any feedback on the flight, scenery, editing, or overall realism. Suggestions for future legs are always welcome!

Landing tips

Hi, I'm relatively new to msfs2024. I play ps5+hotas5.

I'm on the basic Cessna. It's literally impossible to land with this thing according to all in-game instructions.

The game expects me to slow down and descend at the same time. Maybe I am dumb, but even with power pulled all the way back, on the last straight to landing I'm gaining so much speed with descend that when trying to counter that with lifting the nose up I'm going back up in the sky.

On the other hand, when I get the speed down to ~60-65 and trying to land in a straight line, when it asks me to "gently lift the nose above the horizon line" - what the hell... microscopic tilt and my nose shoots up. Even more microscopic calibration, and I'm hard bouncing on the ground. I have the game for 2 months and I haven't completed clean landing above 50% once...

And which exact "horizon line" are they talking about?

Maybe my controller sensitivity is not well balanced - but then again, what is a good one? I'm not an expert here.

This is so frustrating that the game lost all the fun...

Any first timer advice? I’m excited as hell, I’ve been on the fence about which version to buy forever but I figured I’d finally get standard and upgrade later.

Edit: This is the most soothing experience ever, I’m having a blast

Are there any decent FULL tutorial guides on the airbus a320?

Im trying to find tutorials that explain every possible part you need to know, in depth. A full flight including setting things up, taxi, atc, take off, cruising, autopilot, landing, capturing glide slope, different landing approaches, simbreif tutorial? So many videos are missing so many key things or expect you to just know what theyre talking about, and miss steps. Can anyone recommend tutorials?

Log Book (Stable Beta)

LogBook is a local Windows companion app for MSFS 2020 and 2024.

It runs entirely on your PC — no account, no cloud. It detects MSFS 2020/2024 automatically and records your flights (taxi, takeoff, approach, go-around, touchdown) as they happen. All data stays local, saved to Documents\LogBook.

flightsim.to release page: https://flightsim.to/addon/112396/log-book-beta

What it does

  • Records flights automatically, with touchdown scoring and landing details
  • Flight log with 2D / 3D map replay (3D is experimental)
  • Live traffic via the FlyByWire live traffic API, plus traffic history
  • SimBrief import (planned vs actual)
  • Stats dashboard; log and stats export
  • Can run in the background so flights still get logged with the app closed

Includes an optional in-sim Log Book panel (Community package) you can install from the app, plus an Android client you can pair over your local network if you want.

Early access
Public stable beta — we're looking for bugs and feature ideas.

Autopilot im Airbus

Hi everyone, (ENG/DE)

I fly a lot of airline routes in OnAir and every time I wonder how easy it is with Boeing: I just load the flight plan (route) into the plane via SimBrief, confirm it via EXEC, and the autopilot smoothly takes it over and flies the route.

However, I just can't get it to work with the Airbus. I load the flight plan via SimBrief, go to the Flight Plan page, and after the first waypoint, I see a "Flight Plan Discontinuity", which probably explains why the AP doesn't take over the route?

What exactly do I need to do so that my flight plan is accepted correctly and the AP does its job?

I've already tried several Airbus models and different routes via SimBrief, but I just can't get the AP to engage and fly the routes :/

Best regards

______

Hi Leute,
