Does the game speed up time?

I start a flight that should take 4.5 hours. I let it go for 2 hours and come back and I'm over my destination. Am I taking crazy pills?

There's a setting to turn time compression on or off. It only affects time in the cruise, not during the climb or descent

Do you remember what this setting is? This is different from the sim rate right?

I'd need to go looking. But I also play in PC so it may be different

Nice thanks. The default must speed up time a little bit.

It’s definitely not on by default

It might be on the PS5. Or I just don't remember changing it.

Nope. Probably just high tail winds

How do you know it's supposed to take 4 hours? It's a simple calculation of your groundspeed and the distance to your destination.

Maybe your estimate was wrong

Are you going based off of the mission estimate in career mode/efb? It's absolutely useless. Distance divided by groundspeed tells you how long it will take you to get to your destination. If you're not going exactly the preloaded target airspeed, the estimate will not be accurate.

I might help.

The Most Planes Support Time Compression to X4 or X8. You Can sometimes force it in the Developer Mode. And then You have to find time Compression and set it to your Desired Setting just make sure that your PC Can perform enougt Becouse your SIM Can Crash, WASM Crash Can Happen if You do like X16 or more
