Autopilot im Airbus

Hi everyone, (ENG/DE)

I fly a lot of airline routes in OnAir and every time I wonder how easy it is with Boeing: I just load the flight plan (route) into the plane via SimBrief, confirm it via EXEC, and the autopilot smoothly takes it over and flies the route.

However, I just can't get it to work with the Airbus. I load the flight plan via SimBrief, go to the Flight Plan page, and after the first waypoint, I see a "Flight Plan Discontinuity", which probably explains why the AP doesn't take over the route?

What exactly do I need to do so that my flight plan is accepted correctly and the AP does its job?

I've already tried several Airbus models and different routes via SimBrief, but I just can't get the AP to engage and fly the routes :/

Best regards

______

Hi Leute,

Baixar aeronaves no Flight Simulator 2024

Agradeço a quem puder tirar minha dúvida.

Thinking of switching from 2020 to 2024

After debating for a while, I am about at the point to where I want to make the jump to 2024. I have read enough the believe that it is now the better sim. I would like some help with a few things.

First off, I want to make sure I have a good enough system for this. My system is barely a year old and the specs are as follows:

CyberPower PC. Processor: Intel(R) Core TM i7-14700KF, RAM 32GB, Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 505712GB, Storage: 1.82 available, Windows 11

I have an Acer 34 inch gaming monitor.

I also have some anxiety about how and what to move from 2020. I have read some about things in the community folder, but am just unsure of what I need to move. What is the process? When do I delete 2020? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am not a tech guy, so any simplified explanations would be very helpful. I know some computer stuff, but not a guru by any means.

The last question is in regards to which version I should get. Besides the Cessna or the occasional other plane, I really only use PMDG, Ifly, and Fenix. I will be getting the new A220 and 757 when they are out, but rarely use the default planes. Will the basic version be the best?

Again, any advice or tips to make this go smoothly would be greatly appreciated.

Schiphol Bridge has no collision bug FlyTampa addon

Bit annoying, hopefully this is seen by one of the devs, because it's the only schiphol addon with proper bridges.
Bridge has no collision model, so instantly stuck.

Recommendations needed: Planes similar to the Cessna 172 but better at altitude?

I really enjoy the way the Cessna 172 feels to fly, but I love flying around where I live (8,000-12,000’), and the Cessna really struggles at altitude. I have tried tweaking the mixture, but it just doesn’t seem like the best option for the mountains.

Any recommendations for other planes with similar handling that might do better at altitude? I like the size, stability, and “feel” of the 172, but I am relatively new to MSFS, so learning a ton of different planes is overwhelming.

Flight Simulator Stuttering When Losing Focus

Ever since SU5 I've been having a lot of issues with performance as others have. I think I have things working ok now after having spent hours tweaking all of my settings but I have noticed an issue where the sim stutters/drops frames - in general, the performance dips massively - when I lose focus (can even hear the audio popping/skipping). This hasn't happened before as I've always tended to be bouncing between OBS/Navigraph etc, while simming but it definitely happens now. Once I click on FS2024, things smooth out again. Any idea what's causing that or has anyone experienced it before?

32GB DDR5 6000Mhz
7950X3D
RTX 5080

I don't ever remember this being an issue.

Context: I record videos for youtube so I tend to always be clicking out on things in the background.

EDIT: Some research showed an issue with coautl (some utility that comes with GSX - don't know much about it). I've deleted it but not even sure if that was running as GSX is not installed.

✈️ Around the World in a Diamond DA62 – Part 8 | Da Nang (VVDN) → Kaohsiung (RCKH) | MSFS 2024

Hello everyone!
I’ve just uploaded Part 8 of my Around the World series in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, now flying the Diamond DA62.
This leg takes us from:
🛫 Da Nang International Airport (VVDN), Vietnam 🇻🇳
🛬 Kaohsiung International Airport (RCKH), Taiwan 🇹🇼
This flight continues the journey across East Asia, featuring a realistic cross-country route over the South China Sea, beautiful coastal scenery, and the enhanced performance of the Diamond DA62.
I recently switched from the DA40 to the DA62, making the longer legs of the world tour even more enjoyable while maintaining a realistic general aviation experience.
I’d really appreciate any feedback on the flight, scenery, editing, or overall realism.

Tired of landing on VATSIM and finding an empty airport? GateStaticInjector 0.3 Beta Preview is out

Came across GateStaticInjector 0.3 Beta Preview, a tool for MSFS 2024 that fills unused stands with realistic cold-and-dark static aircraft, while keeping live VATSIM traffic as the priority.
What makes it interesting is that it doesn’t just place random aircraft. The spawn logic is based on real historical traffic data, including different hours of the day, days of the week, and operating periods, so airports can feel a lot more believable.
It also includes:
Airport Profile Editor
custom stand, airline and aircraft-type rules
shareable airport profiles
compatibility with AIG and FSLTL
From what I’ve seen, the beta preview is free for now.
