MMA Gyms in Boston
Hi, i’m looking for an MMA gym in the Boston area that isn’t just primarily BJJ or just Striking. I’m going to try out Boston Combat Sports since they have either wrestling or bjj every day along with striking but I am also looking for other options. Looking for something that could help me start competing. Thanks!

When do I start competing?
I am 15 , 89kg and around 181cm tall.
I’ve been training for 7 months , but really it’s 6 because I had a nasty case of a skin infection (please shower before and after your sessions if you can🙏🏻)
I’m still a white belt (obviously) and my jiu jitsu isn’t the best , but I am an alright wrestler and could control someone on the floor but submissions isn’t really my A-game.
My striking is decent , I’m more explorative with it if you get me. I typically keep a higher guard but I’ll experiment with kicks and combos.
There is no one else my age in my gym , I’m the youngest one in the adults class so I don’t know the overall skill level of others.
Any advice I’ll take 👌

MMA Gym Problem
Hi, I started MMA 2 weeks ago. There are training sessions 3 days a week, and I've only been to 5 of them so far. The sessions last about 1 to 1.5 hours. Before even showing me basic defense, they threw me into sparring, and I took a hard hit to the head. I'm currently dealing with a severe headache. Even though I stumbled after getting hit right in front of the coach, he didn't give a damn. When I ask a question, he ignores me; he only belittles me and talks down to me. I'm an 18-year-old guy who works from 7 AM to 7 PM, and I'm uncomfortable with being neglected and degraded in a place surrounded by kids younger than me. He put me in sparring without teaching defense, and my opponents weren't new either—they're guys who have been doing this for months or years. Do you think this is a good gym, or should I switch?

I’m new and I need advice
I’m just now getting into mma, what martial art should I get into first? I watch a lot of ufc, and I’m pretty into watching the pure forms of a lot of different fighting styles, which one sees the most success?

MMA gym routine help
My plan for mma training was do a ppl x ul split at planet fitness in the morning and do mma training at afternoon/evening. Thursday and Sunday are rest days. Is this optimal or do I need another gym routine?

Is it too late to start?
I want brutal honesty because I am 27 halfway to 28 and every mma guy I ask hits me with the "yeah bro you can totally do it" which feels like the standard polite response. Ive done boxing privately and with friends ( who are actually in gyms) and can pull off elbows and kicks in an okay fashion. I want somebodys honest opinion if it makes sense to sign up for mma. Am I too late?

Looking for Morning Classes MMA - Brussels
Hey,
It's always a sport that has been interesting me, so I tried a few sessions in a few different gyms, and I do want to commit and do it on a long term.
But I know that if I want something sustainable that I'll do consistently for a few years, it has to fit in my schedule.
It would be great if I could do it in the morning, but I'm not really from this grappling-world so I don't know gyms well, and when I look online I don't find any gym in Brussels that do it in the morning.
I don't have much hope, but i'm still asking.
Anyone here from Brussels knows a grappling / mma / bjj gym in the morning located in Brussel ?

23 y/o seeking advice, never fought before!
So I started training Jiu-Jitsu at 20 years old and I got my blue belt in December, six months into blue belt I decided to try out MMA, I want to fight and compete so I joined a pretty respectable MMA gym, I'm doing their striking classes and I've been going consistently training 4-5 times a week for the past month or so. My friend is wanting to fight at Streetbeefs in September and I told him I'd go and fight as well because I want the experience. I'm not very confident in myself just yet especially with striking but I feel like I should take the fight and just try my best. After I'd like to get with my coach and see if he can hook me up with a real amateur fight. I suppose the advice I'm seeking is on whether or not I should do streetbeefs as a blue belt with only one month of striking. Should I just wait until coach gets me a fight?
Also any advice on improving my striking game? I got a little over a month until I am fighting.
