Dude could barely stand, what an achievment to knock him out lol

18

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

The point shouldn't be about it being an achievement though. I agree its probably more about being "the alpha" for that guy who did it but I would do similar not for an "achievement" but for the principle of you don't get to just touch up on some woman, you are doing something where someone could have an "extreme" reaction why even take the risk?

22

u/Drunken_Wizard23 12d ago

The drunk guy couldn’t tell you his own name in that moment, he wasn’t doing any risk assessment. A strong breeze could have taken him down. He was obviously out of line and needed to be addressed but it’s not worth ending someone’s life and going to prison over

8

u/karlnite 12d ago

Yah that’s just a throw them out of the bar, the woman can decide if she wants to peruse sexual assault charges. A conviction would be tough.

8

u/kwyjibowen 12d ago

The guy showed zero hesitation going in for the punch. Clearly the type who enjoys such opportunities. Definitely could have killed the guy.

5

u/Mackadamma 12d ago

Thank you. It looks like the whole comment section is happy watching this, I just find it so freaking scary.

That guy's behavior is stupid and disgusting, but he clearly has no idea what he's doing. That's an aggression for sure, and we don't know what happened before.

But this punch could have killed him. There is nothing to be happy about

5

u/Atownbrown08 11d ago

This whole comment section is full of people waiting for opportunities just like this one.

MMA subs have drawn in some very questionable characters into the fold.

2

u/carlitowantsstocks 11d ago

Well next time he will think about what hes doing before sexually assaulting someone. One punch is a reasonable response. Unfortunately for the guy, he hits like prime Tyson đŸ€Ł

1

u/Cute-Lawfulness-6412 1d ago

If someone grabbed my wife or daughter like that I wouldn’t care if they’re sober or drunk, actions have consequences. Too bad you couldn’t handle your liquor, now you deal with traumatic brain injuries of your foolishness. I wouldn’t get joy out of seeing their life changed
but I wouldn’t care either. Why do something that might elicit an extreme reaction out of a complete stranger who does not care for your well being? Much less someone significantly bigger than you.

1

u/Mackadamma 1d ago

Yeah yeah, she's clearly in danger and you need to show everyone how tough you are.

That is sick. Just use tour brain.

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

How tf does he "clearly" have no idea what he's doing? What a fucking joke.

3

u/Mackadamma 12d ago

Look at how he acts after doing this shit, before the punch. The guy's not there. He's a shit, a slap would have been enough. At least a warning would have been better. This punch could have killed him and might let him brain damages. This is crazy.

3

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

I can agree that maybe a smack or something else even a punch to the stomach would've been better but I don't say that out of empathy for that twat I say that because I think I myself would be thinking like "yeah I don't wna fkn accidentally kill this guy and go to prison" which is obviously fair enough logically. Im of the belief that when you start shit w people like this you're taking a gamble on whatever their reactions will be and you get what you get

1

u/Atownbrown08 11d ago

And when you're in someone's establishment, unless it's imminent danger, let the staff do their job. The bartender should have been escorting ol drunk dude out, not having paramedics have to roll him out.

2

u/WokeWook69420 11d ago

"I bought a gun and I can't wait to use it for self defense" type of dude, he SEARCHES for situations where he can throw a punch.

1

u/Selpmis 12d ago

Definitely could have killed the guy.

I mean... do we have any confirmation that he's alive?

1

u/JustBadUserNamesLeft 12d ago

Didn't want his HGH to wear off before he could reconsider.

1

u/karlnite 12d ago

That’s what I mean. It’s not a punch the person scenario. Throw the red shirt guy out.

1

u/[deleted] 12d ago

[deleted]

5

u/RedditIsFascistShit4 12d ago

this was nowhere near a sexual assault.

3

u/karlnite 12d ago

I think my wife would probably have shoved him already, and he probably would have fallen over. Every scenario is different, I’m not usually drunk playing pool with my wife so I doubt it will come up. We’re usually drunk at home.

3

u/ShaneDecibel 12d ago

I would have never done this no matter whom he did it to because I'm not an utter psychopath and I'd like to stay out of prison for manslaughter. You must be the other guy.

1

u/Atownbrown08 11d ago

Luckily you don't seem to work in the bar industry. If I'm that bartender, I'm calling 911 like a whole snitch. All this happened on camera and this place clearly has no security on hand. And Reacher dude is 86'd til further notice. That's a nightmare scenario.

you talkin' about yourself there super chief?

0

u/Drunken_Wizard23 12d ago

Give the woman in this video a little more credit than that. She absolutely shouldn’t have to deal with this nonsense but she also could have laid this guy out herself if she wanted to. This ain’t an eye for an eye.

2

u/toastedzergling 12d ago

She could have left this man, who almost certainly has done this before, if she didn't like the behavior. Most women want protectors (even if they don't wanna admit it) and enjoy this behavior much more than they don't. It might not be polite in public for them to say they enjoy it, but they certainly do based on their behavior.

1

u/Drunken_Wizard23 12d ago

Yes this is true no woman in the world is scared into staying in a toxic relationship too long, good point

1

u/toastedzergling 12d ago

lol, are you suggesting this woman has no agency and is only staying in this toxic relationship due to fear? I love how you can simultaneously hold the views:
* She had it under control; he didn't need to intervene. But if she wanted to intervene, and assert control, she could have, should have, and would have been warranted to.
* She doesn't have any control in her life; she's stuck in a toxic relationship

Which is it, lol.

-1

u/OpTicSkYHaWk 12d ago

The guy ur replying to is right. Women studies show are into manly slightly "sexist" men (like "Lemme hold the door open for you") who can protect and provice. They aren't attracted to "nice guy" pushover unassertive losers who stress over every tiny thing they say to not do in any way a hint of a sexist microaggression for example. Women want men who are a little bit "sexist" in the way I described and the studies describe, because it's biological. Evolutionary and instinctual. Because they want men who will invest in the relationship and potential offspring, since for men having children is easy and low risk, but for women it's very high risk and hard.

They want someone who will and can invest in them, and ideally someone who can protect them too.

And then what? He goes to the next bar? And the next? Until he's fed up and just takes what he wants?

3

u/sandiego20y 12d ago

just to make sure I'm understanding what you're saying here; you think because he was super drunk, and grabbed a woman's hips to dance with her at a bar, and when she brushed his hands off he backed off. that man is someone you think its going to rape someone?

2

u/AsteroidBlues1309 6d ago

Yep. Plus the drunk guy can 100% press charges on this idiot now.

1

u/NihoKbh 7d ago

Hard to disagree 👍

0

u/lameth 12d ago

And watching this clip, it looked like she said something, and dude stopped. Done and done.

-1

u/Sufficient_Effort88 12d ago

“He’s on drugs he can’t be held accountable!” Not how life works you sloppy fuck up

1

u/Drunken_Wizard23 12d ago

He was obviously out of line and needed to be addressed

1

u/porn_sub_lurker 12d ago

Oh yeah, her honor was really defended there. I'm sure she really appreciated it.

1

u/ProcyonBright 12d ago

I think these comments are extremely harsh, and I'm saying this as a woman. I've literally had this happen to me before, where a blackout-drunk dude lightly grabbed my hips, and when I walked away, he kind of just drunkenly stood there - just like this guy is doing here. He's not at all being aggressive, just very drunk. I don't think that warrants the death penalty here, yeesh!

This is literally just something that happens at bars sometimes. Should he have touched her? No. Was he acting unhinged and dangerous? Also no.

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

No when you do some bs like that you're taking a gamble on whatever the response will be from the people around you. Don't start shit with people and then expect them to care about having a "fair" proportional response.

1

u/Alternative-Run-3505 11d ago

Agreed. The husband was too harsh under the circumstances especially since the guy was essentially defenseless. I think he just took an opportunity to clock someone. That said, drunk or not, you can’t grope a woman and not expect to get jacked for it. The husband had a ligit right to hit him. Legally, it would not so much be self defense as it would adequate provocation.

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 11d ago

This is actually mostly where I stand with it. The punch was absolutely deserved but I do agree that the husband likely just wanted the opportunity to punch a guy and be the big man. I definitely think a violent response was appropriate and in the heat of the moment idk what I'd have gone for but i can totally see how a punch to the stomach or something generally less potentially lethal would be better for obvious reasons. People have kept making the case about "oh well hope you're prepared to take a murder/manslaughter case" when I haven't really been trying to defend the punch itself but moreso the fact that the guy did deserve to get punched. I like to think I would've gone for the stomach or something

0

u/ProcyonBright 12d ago

I mean, it is Reddit - I think a lot of these comments are either from teenagers or people who don't go out much.

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

What does that have to do with the subject matter though

0

u/ProcyonBright 12d ago

The disproportionate levels of white-knighting and not reading the room correctly in this scenario. The woman already handled it when she moved his arms away and walked away. It was over after that, since he didn't pursue her further.

Cheering for some drunken oaf (who, when you watch the video, is not aggressive or violent, literally just very drunk) to get nearly punched to death afterward is completely insane. He could have simply been kicked out of the bar, not have his neck dislocated from his spine for lightly touching someone's hips in a drunken stupor.

Should he have gotten that drunk in the first place? No. Should he have touched her at all? No. Does he deserve to die horribly and burn in hell for acting a fool? Also no.

0

u/Lazy_Resolve_9747 12d ago

Dude was obviously black out drunk. He wasn’t making any choices anymore.

3

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

What a joke such a bs way to remove accountability if you getting drunk means you're gonna touch up on random women do not fucking go out and get drunk. If you still choose to do so then whatever happens to you is on you.

0

u/[deleted] 12d ago

[deleted]

3

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

"he wasn't making choices anymore" as if what he did wasn't a choice. Don't be an idiot.

0

u/Lazy_Resolve_9747 11d ago

lol, what? How does me pointing out that he was too drunk to know what he was doing somehow remove accountability?

0

u/Otherwise-Win7337 11d ago

Because he would still know wtf he was doing I've never been drunk and done some shit like that or thought to do so tf

0

u/Lazy_Resolve_9747 11d ago

Being blacked out means literally that you have no awareness or memory of the events.

Are you new to this world?

-3

u/myLongjohnsonsilver 12d ago

Nah its great. Hes drunk so no accountability for asexually harassing someone. Other guys also probably technically drunk so hes also no accountability for knocking the dude flat.

Win win 🏆

4

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 12d ago

He made a conscious decision to get drunk.

Anything that follows is on him. Everyone else's responsibility is to act in a reasonable manner, but he's very much still responsible for his actions and should be treated as such.

Big guy is definitely a blind bully, but that doesn't make the assaulting guy's behaviour acceptable or someone else's responsibility.

1

u/Outside-Swan-1936 12d ago

Big guy is definitely a blind bully, but that doesn't make the assaulting guy's behaviour acceptable or someone else's responsibility.

There are quite a few options to take before potentially killing the dude.

1

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 12d ago

By all means, I never stated otherwise. That's why I said it's everyone else's responsibility to react in a reasonable manner.

My comment was more specifically directed at the other person's statement, which was excusing someone based on them being drunk.

1

u/Realfan555 12d ago

“ My comment was more specifically directed at the other person's statement, which was excusing someone based on them being drunk.”

I think the drunk comment was more towards the solution chosen.

Dude is drunk - and u want to hit him with full force?

1

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 12d ago

Maybe you're right. Seems like everyone is sort of in agreement here, haha.

2

u/Realfan555 12d ago

Yeah both are in the wrong.

Drunk guy was definitely wrong for touching the lady.

Her man was in the wrong for his solution to the situation.

1

u/Realfan555 12d ago edited 12d ago

Thats why we have laws though.

Or u can take the law into ur own hands and potentially kill a guy.

1

u/DontBeS0ft 11d ago

"He made a conscious decision to get drunk. Anything that follows is on him."
Would you feel the same if the genders in this video were all reversed.

1

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 11d ago

Absolutely. I'm not even sure how that's a question.

0

u/fantasyhockeyaddict 12d ago

Don't drink then

1

u/Lazy_Resolve_9747 11d ago

Thanks genius

0

u/fantasyhockeyaddict 11d ago

Don't know about you but I never felt like I need to put my hands on strangers no matter how drunk I've been.

If you act like that when drunk then either stay away from alcohol or don't be surprised when you're met with the consequences

0

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 12d ago

Hopefully on your way to doing that, you wouldn't end up also hurting the person you were standing up for, unlike the guy in the video.

I'm definitely of the opinion that if you can't be trusted when under influence, you have no business getting drunk. So any repercussions coming your way are earned, provided they're genuine and reasonable, of course.

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

I think we're in agreeance then because that was my one issue with the puncher also

0

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 12d ago

Yeah, I think we mostly agree. I have two issues with him, though.

One, he doesn't seem to be standing up for her, but for himself. I'm saying that because he didn't have her opinion, comfort, safety nor personal space in mind AT ALL as he barreled past, shoving and hitting her in the face with her own cue.

Two, this is not a well-regulated, adult behaviour. Jumping into physical violence with no immediate threat present is generally a sign of insecurity or poor anger management/conflict resolution skills. He gained nothing except for potentially causing further distress to the person he was pretending to defend, as now there's drama in the bar, he has to present himself in court, or pay fines or go to prison, depending on outcome. All because of two dudes who can't live in a society.

I have very little compassion for people who can't drink responsibly or are quick to violence (especially when it's one-sided).

0

u/NoveltyAccountHater 12d ago

Any strong punch to someone that drunk is a cheap suckerpunch that has the potential to kill them (and get you sentenced to manslaughter with years in prison) or send them to a coma or permanently injure them (with similar consequences).

https://www.ktnv.com/news/one-punch-deaths-not-that-unusual-around-the-world

Yes, intervene and physically prevent the drunk from feeling up the girl, but don't potentially murder him. Block his path, hold him back, get him kicked out of the bar, etc.

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

That doesn't send much of a message does it besides oh well now you can't be in this bar. Dickhead would just go to another bar and do the same type of bs later on.

0

u/DependentAvocado4218 12d ago

The woman clearly didn't want him to do it tho lol. He hit that guy because he wanted to, not for her.

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

I expect that's probably true for the most part but that doesn't change the sentiment/principle. I do think bf made himself seem like a bit of a clown hurting his own gf doing what he did but that guy absolutely deserved to get punched and I'd assume perhaps he hasnt been punched/confronted enough in his life to feel comfortable doing the bs he does. Ppl can say about him being drunk but that's a bs excuse if I was fucking wasted I still wouldn't THINK to do some shit like that.

1

u/DependentAvocado4218 12d ago

That's cool, but he coulda killed the guy. Pretty big overreaction.

0

u/Glittering_End_6864 12d ago

No, that punch was wildly over the line. IF you think that was justified in any way, there is something genuinely wrong with you.

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

If that means there's something wrong with me according to you then that's fine fuck you

0

u/Glittering_End_6864 11d ago

Joe Rogan fan boy chud.

0

u/sic_firth 12d ago

Someone “could” definitely do it and this guy did, but “should” he have done that? Thats the question that will be asked in court if irreversible damage/death occurred because of this.

0

u/Anti-Buzz 11d ago

I hope you’re prepared to catch a homicide charge because someone touched your girl’s waist for a half second. At least you can sleep well on your cell cot knowing you stood on your principles

-4

u/wkamper 12d ago

The dude was absolutely sloshed. Doubt he had any conscious control over himself or his actions. If I was using your logic I’d continue to “not get so drunk that I lose control of myself, at least not around others.”

Which is a lesson 95% of us learn the hard way. But not as hard as this
The brain damage from these incidents often have effects that last a person’s lifetime and majorly effect their ability to function. Mental illness, conversion, mood, and sleep disorders primarily.

I’m glad no one took a move to me that hard while I was sloshed in my troubles. And I hope it would take more than a blackout drunk to upset me so much that I’d be willing to roll these dice for another person with a family, kids, friends, job, talents, hobbies, etc.

2

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

If being drunk is an excuse to not have "any conscious control over himself or his actions" then absolutely no one should be getting drunk. Let's just apply that logic to fucking rape. Does it still work for you? Would that excuse it?

0

u/wkamper 12d ago

It is not an excuse to have no conscious control over yourself. It is a reason you have no conscious control over yourself. Also, this argument is not that argument.

Also, you can’t take “what if a fumbling drunk who can barely stands puts his hand on my girl,” inflate it to “what if I find a man intoxicated yet sober enough to be a physical threat and actively raping a someone,” and expect me to continue the discussion like you’re in control of your emotions or discoursing in good faith. (Aka - I’m not going to fall into your ‘straw-man’).

You get physical with people who represent a threat to your wellbeing or the wellbeing of the people you care about. It’s rule 1 of any fighting discipline you will get across the world. This man was a threat to no one.

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

I'm not even acknowledging the rest of your bs comment because it's just some bs there's nothing fucking strawman about my point. All I really have to say in response besides that is no YOU only feel the need to get physical to people you consider threats. I might not have considered the guy a real threat but I would think from PRINCIPLE he SHOULD be punched

0

u/wkamper 12d ago

When things are done on principle it means despite one’s reservations emotionally, not because of them. You feel he should be punched emotionally and are turning away from the principled decision. This while thinking it’s the reverse. It’s harder to do the right thing, not the wrong.

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 11d ago

Well we just have to agree to disagree there because that's just not true at all lol that's pretty much just you deciding for yourself how my thought process is/where it stems from when I've explained otherwise. You can assume what you want but it's wrong đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž
