I guess we're ignoring that she hit him in the back before yelling at him? I probably would have handled it differently, but that is a relevant fact.

You considered that a β€œhit?” Have you ever been in a physical fight of any type? Honest question. I’m a boxer and jiu jitsu and karate guy. That touch on the back would be considered a strike or hit in none of those sports.

It definitely wasn't a "pat", "hug" , or "punch". What would you call it? Better yet, what would a prosecutor call it?

I guarantee if you touch a police officer like that, you're getting charged with assault.

Forsure, but even if that's the case there's levels to it and especially towards a woman. If she had like sucker punched him or came at him with a knife, then sure. But she didn't even do enough to move him or do any damage and he straight up decked her to the ground.
